I wouldn't say I'm "convinced" Austin is guilty either, but I've got as much reason to suspect him of being scum as anyone else, if not more. Who would you rather put on the chopping block, if it was up to you?
Right now, I don't have a good target. Given that we have two claims on the table, I'd prefer to get one more before the DP is up. Right now, I'm leaning towards Moozer on that front, but I haven't fully reread the DP so that could change.

Early in the DP, Austin comes off as having a similar but distinct perspective to Luna's. There might have been some buddying going on there, but he made some distinctions that I wouldn't have expected from scum. His pushing on you later in the DP seemed largely reasonable to me, even if statements like:
I think his vote on savant was fine. The buddying I don't think is necessarily that suspicious but I do think it likely means if lunatic or Austin are scum that it likely clears the other one.

I also don't think Austin is sophisticated enough to buddy up with lunatic to take advantage of those sorts of associative reads from me.

I mean, the people accusing me can't all be scum, but I still don't really get why I'm being sussed. I've already explained my reasons for pushing on Savant. Just because he's likely town for his role doesn't mean he's right on his reads.

I don't really scum read him, but when looking back, he's definitely not as townie as I made him out to be. Again, I'm usually for lynching someone DP1, but scum is playing a good game so far, and I don't see anyone really standing out even a little. I will vote with majority tho, because I'm still pretty bad at this kind of stuff.

I agree with this. I unvoted because I was going to investigate Austin and didn't want scum framing him. But if you're onboard with this, it increases my suspicions. I wouldn't be OMGUSing him if I didn't think he was a very good player. He's almost never been wrong with accusations before in my experience, so yeah, if it looks like he was breadcrumbing an accusation against me, and I'm not scum, that looks suspicious.
Genuinely don't understand why Savant is pushing me other than a OMGUS. The only reason he's gave is that from his pov, I'm made an incorrect read. Idk how that makes me scum and it's a bit annoying that everyone is blindly going along with the final conclusion just because Savant is likely town without looking at the poor basis behind it.

Is there any reason why Austin would respect you more than anyone else here? 

Is he intimidated by you for some reason that you can sense?

Like maybe he perceives you as socially dominant or he thinks of you as a God of mafia and that is why he would be really worried about you?
I can sort of answer this on behalf of Luna. Luna represented our site in the MafiaUniverse champs, I was following along the whole time and was pretty impressed. I talked about it over PMs with him.

Alright, my final decision is to VTL Austin. I'm not bandwagoning, it's just that I don't have that much time, so I'm gonna defer to the people who are better at this than me. If it's better for me to just not vote, I'm down for that too.

Right, so the wagon on me is:

-Savant (who's mad that I pointed out objectively scummy behavior)
-Wylted (for reasons unknown)
-Moozer (sheeping the above two)

Not really sure what I'm supposed to say. I townread Savant mechanically, Wylted is a bit of a toss-up, and Moozer, while his absence is probably not alignment indicative, I do feel his progression is somewhat artificial.

Yeah… I really don’t like this wagon. Can someone explain to me what Austin has done that makes him sus beyond some perceived buddying of Luna over a strategy that largely worked last game (I’d say town lost for other reasons)? I particularly find Moozer’s presence on this wagon frustrating after he townread Austin behaviorally. I don’t mind him changing his mind, but if anyone is just following someone else’s lead, it’s him.

No matter how Austin flips, it's going to reveal something. If he's town, Moozer is probably scum. If he's scum, whiteflame is probably his partner.
