You will not get a claim out of me.
If I claim, scum will just get me during the night.
It has now been revealed by the mod that there will be no kill tonight, as their is a factional protection. You get an automatic free next day phase no matter what, not to mention potential protection roles that can cover you in future nights. Does this change your stance on claiming at all? If you are town and mis-lynched you will inherently hurt your town, as the lynch is a guaranteed death. In light of you deleting posts (this should almost be a guaranteed lynch in any mafia game) I'd say claiming is definitely the lesser of two evils at this point.

Take your ego out of it for a second I'd advise. You won't prove anything to anyone on this website, I guarantee you. People will just say "you acted anti-town so you got lynched for it" and their opinion will never change. Its a tale as old as time. If you are actually playing this to win, think about it logically. If you are a town power role, claiming hurts your chances at winning this less than just dying. You won't die tonight guaranteed, and if you are that big of a role, you can't discount the possibility of a doctor in future nights. Claiming here guarantees you longevity over just getting uselessly lynched to prove a point that none of these stubborn debaters will care about anyway. Just sayin. Think about it.

I guess, though as I pointed out earlier, it's not just the attitude that's setting me off. He chose to delete two posts, both of which were responses to me. He also said this:

That's an... oddly specific thing to say he knows, since it doesn't say anywhere in the OP which faction can perform an NK on which night, only that there are two mafia factions and that one of them kills on odd nights and one on even nights. Maybe he somehow misread the OP and thought it defined that. Maybe he just believed that throwing out a specific sus would rally more people to his cause, regardless of accuracy. In either case, he hasn't explained this choice and that's despite my calling him out on it several times. I'm still a little hesitant to push on him because not responding to requests to explain his play has kind of been his MO, but this was pretty galling.


Yeah I just caught up to the point where people are mentioning he had deleted a post. That should probably be an auto lynch in any mafia game tbh. In regards to his information about RM, it could be role related, or based on something RM said (which would also indicate that he would have inside information and likely be part of the second group). 

I think he needs to claim at this point, in the odds this a newbie mistake and he is a town PR, that could be the only thing going for his survival.

Basically every faction gets an automatic bulletproof is what the mod just explained. The first time a night kill is attempted on any faction, the kill will not go through. Make sure your information is really worth full claiming for. I'd probably buy your information without a full claim at this point though, given I currently read you town, but I can't speak to others.

I just thought about this... Mafia could also forfeit the night kill tonight to cause even more confusion. Eventually these factional bulletproofs can be used as an "investigation" of sorts so this is something we need to keep in mind as well.

Damn, look I know it sucks to be a constant lynch target, but it will pass and after a few games, no one will target you as much anymore.

But you cant go around saying "lynch this person for no reason", because even as a bait its risky unless you have a strong role.

Rational and 7k- 7k has been getting every scum read correct, so I am tempted to vote rational. I doubt 7k is it as he has done this 2 times already and was innocent.
