If I’m completely honest, I would usually vote in favor of public transportation at a small price, but Quasimoto failed to provide any good reason to support that. McMieky was the only one who actually participated in the debate, and I feel like Quasimoto was just trying to ruin a good debate for a good person. Congrats McMieky, you won my vote.
Basically this site works differently than just about all of the others. Two people go head to head in each debate. Others I've seen are more like a list of points made by every random person, without any conclusion.
This isn't me and Quasimoto's first debate. In our first ever debate they actually participated but I dont know what happened to them.
The main benefits of public transport are reduction in congestion and a reduced personal transport cost for the user. As the question is about money then in this case it is the individual or group who are taking public transport that are saving money right? If the question is about accessibility then the solution could be free tickets for individuals who make <X per annum for example. P.S. I've just signed on to this site and don't know how it works so forgive me if I'm doing it wrong but there wasn't an immediately obvious option to add an argument to this thread so I've made do :)
