Basically this site works differently than just about all of the others. Two people go head to head in each debate. Others I've seen are more like a list of points made by every random person, without any conclusion.

This isn't me and Quasimoto's first debate. In our first ever debate they actually participated but I dont know what happened to them.

The main benefits of public transport are reduction in congestion and a reduced personal transport cost for the user. As the question is about money then in this case it is the individual or group who are taking public transport that are saving money right? If the question is about accessibility then the solution could be free tickets for individuals who make <X per annum for example. P.S. I've just signed on to this site and don't know how it works so forgive me if I'm doing it wrong but there wasn't an immediately obvious option to add an argument to this thread so I've made do :)
