Slavery as I mentioned in another topic, the 9-5 is modern day slavery, is basically obligation which has an affect over your freedom.
Freedom is not good in nature. It is neutral just as slavery.
Now obligation which has an affect on your freedom you can say is dominating you.
Those are the two awesome components or traits of slavery.
Domination and obligation. Obligating and dominating.
Straightforward enough right.
Now there are circumstances where dominating and obligating something or someone proves to be necessary in order to have a constructive conclusion.
The same is true for the opposite.
One straightforward example is the penal prison system.
It is moral and humane for society to obligate individuals that would otherwise do society wrong if not obligated or forced to be imprisoned dominating their freedom.
The same is true for the opposite.
I know slavery gets a negative connotation so it is outright considered wrong in and of itself.
Slavery is actually neutral but based on how you use the term, a person can see what I mean .
But the average person most likely would not use the term the way it has been in this topic.
So semantics, yes but nevertheless according to what I've said by those terms, they're either consistent or not.

We're talking about ownership. There are some parallels but slaves have to be alive at the end of the day.

Nobody can be blamed for sins of father, but it is odd that a place claiming to be a meritocracy all have leaders whose ancestors have several generations of being the top 1% wealth wise.
Russia is more of a meritocracy prigozihn started out as running a hot dog stand and now he is next Russian president.

This recent interview on Dr Phil with a Civil Rights activist from the 60s went VIRAL!!!
FACT: Less than 335k Africans were brought to North America during the Atlantic slave trade. The remaining that survived the journey across the Atlantic, some 10.7 million, were taken to South America and the Caribbean.
Why is it the world never hears of the trials and tribulations of those descendants of those 10.7 million BUT everyone hears about the decedents of the mere 335,000 of American blacks whining, bitching, and moaning about rights, money, reparations, racism, so on and so forth??????
What about those 3,700 FREE BLACKS (former slaves, mostly) who OWNED over 12,000 Africans as slaves?
What about the first LEGALLY RECOGNIZED slave owner being BLACK?
Then when you see bullshit movies like The Woman King that distorts the truth about blacks involvement in slavery in the continent of Africa, it only adds to the divisive racist rhetoric in this country.
Blacks are the forebears of their own problems. Whites are not the cause of their problems.
As mentioned in the first linked viral video, blacks were far better off during the FIRST 100 years post-slavery.
The very first female millionaire in North America was a black woman, Madame C.J. Walker.
We have had Booker T Washington, Frederick Douglas, W.E.B. Du Bois, so on and so forth. All proffered during the first 100 years post-slavery.
Homes in the early 1900s were over 89% nuclear with black households.
Come civil rights, everything went downhill. Why?

There isn’t a racial category of human beings on this planet that hasn’t been enslaved by another, or their own race.
Africans started slavery long before Europeans came along, and they surely have continued the practice to present day. They even sold their own to the Atlantic Slave Trade.
America owes no one an apology for slavery. No one. If they want it, they can get it from Africa.
