88% of people disapproved child seperations, that should've been a huge blow. It wasn't, it should tell you that the reaction to it and the advocacy it started wasn't reacted to kindly either. Especially since immigration is one of the most important issues to voters right now last I heard 🤔. That and the economy

My point on highlighting hypocrisy is Dems continue to push the family seperations issue to signal virtue, meanwhile turning around and pushing policy(even moderate catch and release policy) that incentivizes illegal immigrants to bring their children along. 

Its no secret that a large portion of migrant children don't survive that journey. Its no secret that a majority of those children, particularly female children and teens, are raped, sexually assaulted, etc. on that journey. 

Thus the whole, "omg think of the children" is fake AF. If the children were the primary concern they'd be agreeing with deincentivizing illegal immigration by any reasonable means necessary(family seperations excluded). The end of some children getting a better life doesnt justify the means of thousands to tens of thousands of those kids dying along the way. And more that are raped, abused, or assaulted. 

That shit feeds the trafficking industry on top of that. Yes, how virtuous and moral, advocating policy that would feed human trafficking 🤔

Beautiful thing though, family seperations were done away with by EO... So beyond a few hundred kids whose parents aren't in the country anymore, quite a few of which were voluntarily abandoned, the issue is resolved.

Trumps a business man, he's focused on the bottom line. I don' think hes blind to this potentiality of meeting such a recession on our own terms, and using it as a launching pad to regroup and burst out from that at a full sprint 🤔

And honestly, if he can coax the Fed into barely raising interest rates, its feasible we hit a growth rate that makes it so those "tough times" the intentional recession that would create, really arent tough times in comparison. Say we can get growth rate between 5 and 6 percent. The hit to growth a balancing of the budget would create would feasibly still only result in a drop back to 3% or so growth rates. Not good, but not really all too bad either. 

As it stands there is zero indication of that, and indication of wanting to get more tax cuts. Combine that with ending Reagan-Era protectionist trade policies, and youve got a brew thats gonna be a winner fmpov. 

Hopefully his 2nd term he runs on balancing the budget so it' no longer a percentage of GDP. It would create tough times in the interim, but whoooooo would that skyrocket growth post those tough times

Globalism is good in limited quanitites. I like the idea of global free trade, I am against globalism in terms of the UN, no borders, etc. 

Not necessarily because they aren't noble ideals, but because the systems are and were too easily corrupted. The world isnt anywhere close to global cooperation. The pushes seen globally back to sovereign self interest are exemplary of that.

As I established, you can't look at Facist doctrine and attribute it to Trump. You can however look at Facist Doctrines the likes of The 5 Points, Gentile, Mussolini(whom gentile ghostwrote much of his own doctrine) and draw a slew of parallels to the left. In geopolitics you have to play hardball. Our trading partners were going to be averse to free trade because the trade policies in place were mainly favorable to them. I agree that tariffs do tend to hurt the economy, but again, they are a means to get our partners to agree to the end of zero-subsidy zero-tariff trade. Something that will be highly beneficial to the US as a whole across the board.

I disagree there isnt strictness. If you noticed the rhyme scheme deviated when fear was introduced to the equation, then deviated again once the fear was dissolved. 

Its not perfect structure, but the break from a strict structure was intentional and intended to impart the change in emotion of the poems subject 🤔

I change to a sprint, and dash away quickly, but still steps i do hear, those steps do draw near

i run on for ages, at my thoughts fear now claws, i dare not slow down, I dare not even pause

I run endlessly in the night, with no other still in sight, and still i hear the steps, as they chase me in flight 

my legs grow weary, my strength it does fade, but still i hear steps, behind me in chase 

I finally can flee, no longer, no more, and turn 'round to face, my pursuer unseen
