Yes, it is clear who started this. Though, you seemed to spark this debate.. That said, you still seem confident continuing to proceed with this debate.

Can we discuss the Dhar Mann situation?
-->
@Sir.Lancelot
Hopefully this isn't won't be that long.

Ah, alright. I quickly skimmed the video and another video with his apology. I didn't fully watch both of the videos, but I do have a few thoughts along with opinions. I might've made a few errors with my logic being that I skimmed the videos. I apologize for for that.

They were complaining about the little amount of money they receive. However, when they joined Dhar Man it was clear how much pay they would receive. If they weren't content with it the pay before starting why would they accept working with him in the first place? Further, Dhar Man projects aren't really a full-time job. If you completely are reliant on your pay from Dhar Man that is your mistake alone.

Another sitaution or complaint was Dhar Man not being in the meetings. With many industries the CEO is not present unless completely necessary. Also considering the fact they walked out of the office within minutes. I understand if the problem isn't getting solved after that meeting but you aren't solving anything walking out.

Could he pay them more especially with the funds he receives from YouTube? Yes. Does he absolutely need to pay them more? No.

This is mostly affecting them, the actors. With the hate going around with Dhar Man it is safe to say the likes, views, and subscriptions could decrease. What does this do? Affect his pay, affecting his pay affects their pay.

What's your opinion?

Hm, I'm interested if this debate actually follows through. Seeing the side with so much confidence lose would be priceless. Nevertheless I also would enjoy reading the topic.

I'm not saying I want one or the other to win but the both of you have such high confidence, obviously only one of you will lose with such confidence.

Good luck, ill be watching out for this debate if it is published.

Debate Limitations Update
Honestly this part of the update is the least of my "concerns". However, I also see the reasoning behind this more clearly than the other parts of the update. Many people end up forfeiting their debates handling one, but more than 10? Especially when the debates are only two or three days per each round. Further, ill use the quote: "quality over quantity".

Nonetheless I understand the other side of this.

No, I don't have much of an opinion on this part of the update. Just stating my thoughts on it so far.

Never really got to post my own opinion and I might be a bit late but here we go.

It's an alright update. I am a bit disappointed with not being able to do rated debates without qualification however I do understand the thought process behind it. I think they already know the pros and cons of adding this qualification and the dislike they might get for it. Though I think their priority is trying to help new users in a certain way. I understand noobsniping is common among new users and they could get targeted real quickly.

Personally though I wish this wasn't part of the update. Even though I joined this website fifteen days ago, I personally want a challenge. If you come to this website you should fairly be prepared. Read what you need to know, and figure everything out before getting in a real debate. Even if you were to get challenged by someone on the leaderboard, that's alright. It should give you something to experience a real debate and improve from it. Will you win? Probably not. However, can you use that as a reference to learn how to debate? Explore different styles of debating? Yes. Having rated debates just helps the user grow. Yes your rating will go down but it's all just experience. Maybe if you asked the user with a pop-up "Are you sure? This is a rated debate and will affect your rating" people might take consideration into doing the debate. Even if they don't take this into consideration your rating can always be re-improved.

(Please keep in mind I don't have any knowledge of the possible violation of MEEP's. Therefore I am stating my opinion with only my current knowledge).

Then again, this is just assuming. I'm not actually sure and I am fairly confused on this qualification as well.

@Skipper_Sr
It says "allowed in any debate". So, I am assuming the following:

Do you remember when you had to have a certain rating for some debates? From example, some of RationalMadMan's debates you had to be the rating of 1600+. No longer do you need a certain debate rating as long as you have that qualification. I'll back this up just a bit more, I also no longer see where it allows you to make users have a certain rating or above to accept the debate. Unless I am missing something.

Hope this answers your question.

"Late" is pretty relative on this site. Don't worry about that because some users are somewhat inactive
Guess I just considered an hour or so a bit of a "late" response. But your right.
My bad for not responding "quicker".

@Skipper_Sr
I apologize for a somewhat late response.

Are you alluding to your respect towards us or our respect towards you?
This was referred to my respect towards you guys. That said, that doesn't mean I assume your respect towards me is automatic either.

@Sidewalker
I appreciate your welcome.

Good thinking, that will save you the time it takes to lose respect for everyone here.
Not sure how to respond to this comment. Though I understand where you are coming from. That being said, I have already formed my opinions on people based on their comments and debates. I just hope it doesn't start off too rough.

Guess I just realized this forum was available.

Feel free to develop any nickname that relates to my name/user.
One last thing, my respect is earned; not automatic.
