Why Did Jesus Come When He Did?
-->
@ebuc
Sorry, I don't youtube. I see little credibility to it. Anybody can post just about any soapbox theme. Let's see the same thing, whatever it is, in a crerdentialed, peer-reviewed communication.

So it was 11,000 years ago. But predicted to occur when? Age of anything just not necessarily acknowledge its intent of resolve.

Why bring Afghan refugees here?
-->
@Mesmer
I agree with you in principle. However, most countries that create a refugee status leave little ability for refugees to fix their own problems. Those problems are mostly the responsibility of their governments, both in cause and solution. If countries were more generous to their citizens in allowing their peoples' rights to flourish, we would not have a worldwide refugee condition other than by natural disaster. Greed for power, unfortunately, is a greater temptation than to be of service to society.

Why Did Jesus Come When He Did?
-->
@Lit
Jesus came when he did because the Earth has a day of 24 hours [actually, 23h 56m and change, though that is variable]; the only planet in our system with that length of day.

IOW, why did there need to be a specific schedule of his coming, or his return? Answer: no specific reason. Some things happen when they happen just because that is when they happen. To try to assign some numeric/time significance to it is placing too much significance on the event when it really does not matter in scheme of the performance of Christ's purpose. He could have come at any time, but it was not at the fullness of time; it was called the meridian of time, but that may not be particularly accurate, either. The accomplishment of his mission is what is important, not when it occurred.

It is more than past time for other countries to contribute more than they currently do to absorbing refugees of war, just as it is for them to relax their typical immigration laws. I do not believe it is anyone's right to live wherever they choose. It certainly is not an enumerated right in the Constitution of the United States. In fact, that document's only enumerated right to non-citizens is access to due process. Legal immigrants or refugees must be accepted by countries at each country's discretion, and more countries ought to be as generous as has been the United States.

Absolutely. In my family, our "age of majority" was considered as 8. Achieving that age, all activities such as vacations or even moving residence, which we did 3 times [once before my age of majority] affecting all members could offer suggestions and register votes. We did accordingly. The one exception was that at dinner [no other meals] we were expected to be dressed respectfully, but not necessarily formally. One other exception; Mother taught us all, four brothers [I'm 3rd], how to cook and sew buttons.

I did originate as an egg. As my earliest memory is only at four, can't say abandonment was part of the equation, but that early memory was as a member of a small group of other people that did become fixated as an intact family.

Biden: Does a left hand know what the right hand is doing?

@Wylted
Delegating being the keyword. Biden is strictly delegated by others, and does none of it himself. Hell, even Jill delegates Joe, constantly reminding him that she is not her sister, and that sniffing hair is strictly for other women and girls, but never Jill. She will not be demeaned. There is nothing you can say that will convince that Biden is otherwise; he's a cipher. Jill ought to oppose him in '24, assuming he lasts that long.

I don't think Biden handles anything. His handlers handle the media. Biden is clueless.

A democratic republic, such as the United States

Capitialism is not a government type. It is an economic practice, even practiced by modern PRC. Tell me they don't know the value of a buck

As a family of one, absolutely.

Yeah, case in point, the preselected "journalists" following Biden's reading today.

Why are you blending government types with economic types? How about a family being a democracy?

Anything that requires experience to prove is not objectively true, and cannot be proven to be so.
-->
@Intelligence_06
It is not a singular experience that matters. The whole point of science, as opposed to singular experiential observation is that the experience is repeatable and reproducible. It is, therefore, a string of identical experiences that establishes valid theory, and continued repeatability and reproducibility to convert theory to fact. We cannot ignore the multiplicity required.

Biden: Does a left hand know what the right hand is doing?
White House Communications Director, Kate Bedingfield, says Biden "never shies away from taking questions."
White House Press Secretary,  Jen Psaki, says, "Biden taking impromptu reporter questions is not something we recommend." https://www.foxnews.com/media/white-house-communications-director-claims-biden-questions

Biden says, "i'm a hairy guy."

Biden can, apparently, tell the truth, but he's failed at convincing his staff.
