The country name refers to a geographic location. If it makes you more comfortable to call it the Gaza strip who by the way act as a sovereign nation with their own elected leaders, than by all means call it the Gaza strip. Whatever shorthand you are comfortable using to refer to a geographic location. same question but restated.

Say you live in Las Angelas but randomly decide to show up to start claiming the land of sanfransisco as yours. How do you think that would play out?

so answer the question about stealing land from san fransisco and we can refer to that geographical location as Gaza. Perhaps you can provide me with the Hebrew word for gaza if you plan to take this to a whole new level of retarded.

In all honesty, I don't give a ffffffffffuck about it. I mean, zionists vs muslims, it's obvious they'll butcher each other.

What worries me is Iran and its testing nuclear program. I hope these zealots don't test it on Israel, that would the end of this world.

Why?

Let's say Iran nukes Israel,

'Maybe Israel nukes back, maybe they don't.

Other countries though,
Might prefer other options, might want to avoid more nukes.

Even if other countries nuke Iran,
They don't need to be nuking each other, just because Iran nukes Israel.

I have known for some time that Israel has Judaism as a state religion.

But Christians are definitely not hated nearly as much as Palestinians and Muslims in Israel. If they were, then we wouldn't be allowed to see the biblical places and live there and such.

Overall, though, Israel is a very authoritarian place. Tel Aviv may be known for its ethnic and religious diversity of residents, but if you aren't Jewish you really are a varying degree of second class citizen, or so I've heard.

"Hamas, in its official charter, quotes the Prophet Muhammad as saying: “the day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’” This is a particularly cruel Hadith. We imagine the trembling Jew who tries to survive by hiding behind rocks and trees. However, the rocks (the symbol of non-living nature ) and the trees (the symbol of living nature), both want his death. As if the whole universe is eager to kill this sole and trembling Jew."

Some religious textbook excerpts.
"The books were published in 2000. FRONTLINE cannot verify how many Saudi schools have used these textbooks, or how these passages were taught or interpreted by teachers in Saudi Arabia. However, these textbooks are part of the official curriculum for Saudi students and are a fundamental part of their education. Approximately 35% of school studies is devoted to compulsory Saudi religious education."

"The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement was issued on August 18, 1988. The Islamic Resistance Movement, also known as the HAMAS, is an extremist fundamentalist Islamic organization operating in the territories under Israeli control. Its Covenant is a comprehensive manifesto comprised of 36 separate articles, all of which promote the basic HAMAS goal of destroying the State of Israel through Jihad (Islamic Holy War). The following are excerpts of the HAMAS Covenant:"
"1. Calls for the Destruction of Israel
Introduction: Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it"

Hopefully there is another Planet far far away, where the dominant species didn't evolve to be quite so stupid.

Or maybe we will evolve and eventually become more sensible.

Big asks I know.

Or maybe after nuclear extinction, another intelligence will develop here on Earth, with more of a positive and unified spin on things.

Clutching at straws I know.

Nonetheless, what the fuck will we care once we are dead?

Have a nice day.

Thats disgusting, literally words of a muslim psychopath.

Israel itself is filled with hate and corruption, so really, this is one of those cases where US shouldnt help either side.

Consider the Book of 1 Samuel, when God instructs King Saul to attack the Amalekites: "And utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them," God says through the prophet Samuel. "But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey."
When Saul failed to do that, God took away his kingdom.
It looks like all the Gods want Humans to kill other Humans. OMG, is the Universe a giant video game for all the Gods?

I think humans are pretty intelligent myself.

I don't agree that the USA should treat Israel and Palestine equally.

You seem like the type of person who would support gay rights.

"Lesbian, gay, bisexual, & transgender (LGBT) people in Palestine face a precarious situation due to a lack of civil rights legislation aimed at tackling discrimination. There is also a significant legal divide between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. In the West Bank, same-sex acts were decriminalized in the adoption of the Jordanian Penal Code of 1951 following the Jordanian annexation. Gaza, however, still follows the British Mandate Criminal Code Ordinance, No. 74 of 1936, which outlaws same-sex acts between men, with the current punishment being up to 10 years in prison."

"Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights in Israel are considered the most developed in the Middle East.[2] Although same-sex sexual activity was legalized in 1988, the former law against sodomy had not been enforced since a court decision in 1963. Israel became the first country in Asia to recognize unregistered cohabitation between same-sex couples, making it the first country in Asia to recognize same-sex unions in any capacity. Although same-sex marriages are not performed in the country (as it does not have civil non-religious marriages), Israel recognizes same-sex marriages performed elsewhere. Discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation was prohibited in 1992. Same-sex couples are allowed to jointly adopt, following a landmark court decision in 2008. Previously, stepchild adoption, as well as limited co-guardianship rights for non-biological parents, were permitted. LGBT people are also allowed to serve openly in the military."

Also, recall the strategic military reasons the USA has for supporting Israel.

Additionally, US citizens killed and taken hostage by 'Hamas, 'not Israel.

I consider your post to be motivated by your hatred of religion (At least 'some religions if not all),
I consider it misleading and dishonest,
And do not wish to engage with it.

Sure. I like gays.

We already gave 150 billion dollars to Israel.

Thats larger than Russia's entire military budget, and larger than what we gave to Ukraine.

So if Israel needs any more help, we might need to label Israel as "incompetent ally" and just invest our money in allies who are actually competent, or in our own defense because thats actually better for us than wasting money on incompetence.

Do you have a source for that 150 billion?
I was under the impression that it was cumulative, not that we are giving 150 billion each year, though it is quite possible I am mistaken.

But if it 'is cumulative, then your comparison to Russia and Ukraine budgets, makes it a mismatched comparison?
. . .

We 'have defenses in Israel,
An ally is someone one can make use of,
Israel is a strong country, equal in strength to it's neighbors, Israel has numerous times defeated nearby neighbors who have waged aggressive wars on Israel.

Israel is a useful foothold for the USA in the Middle East.
"the only foreign military installations on Israeli soil are US bases, including an AN/TPY-2 early missile warning radar station on Mt. Keren.[6]"

War is a mother of invention,
"From 2011 to 2021, the United States contributed a total of US$1.6 billion to the Iron Dome defense system,[11] with another US$1 billion approved by the US Congress in 2022."
"Defense reporter Mark Thompson wrote that, the "lack of Israeli casualties suggests Iron Dome is the most-effective, most-tested missile shield the world has ever seen."[160]"

Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid: until February 2022, the United States had provided Israel US$150 billion (non-inflation-adjusted) in bilateral assistance.[1] In 1999, the US government signed a Memorandum of Understanding through which it committed to providing Israel with at least US$2.67 billion in military aid annually, for the following ten years; in 2009, the annual amount was raised to US$3 billion; and in 2019, the amount was raised again, now standing at a minimum of US$3.8 billion that the US is committed to providing Israel each year.
Take note that Israel only has 10 million population. So the 150 billions is equal to 15,000$ per capita. And thats when not adjusted for inflation.
No country received as much help from US as Israel did in total, and they even today still get similar help per capita as Ukraine who is at much serious war.

If they need any more help to defeat Palestine, then we are talking about an incompetent ally.
Or they are simply using Palestine as an excuse to get more money from USA.
Whatever it is, it is not good for USA. And it has to be one of these two, since what could possibly be the third option? And the most likely option is the second one.

Israel is a very expensive ally, and the one who obviously wants to get as much money out of US as possible. Plus, Israel is not in any real danger from Palestine. It would be nonsense to say that Palestine will conquer Israel unless we help. So why help Israel? Let them learn to survive on their own. The more money we give them, the less we have for other allies and for ourselves. Given the size of Israel, we can say Israel is not a significant ally and paying 3 billion a year for US to control a dessert where there will be constant wars is hardly a good investment. However, paying more than that is just nonsense.

I'm not very good at economics,
But it sounds that your comparison to Russia and Ukraine budgets #55 , makes it a mismatched comparison?

You don't think Israel's neighbors who have repeatedly declared war, and been defeated by Israel pose a threat to Israel?
I've already linked those wars multiple times, but you don't seem to remember?

If Israel loses the war, sounds a bit that they'll get genocided by the victors,
But perhaps you've already forgotten the sources I've used arguing for that conclusion?
While there are Palestinians in Israel, what Israelis would be allowed in Palestine?
When Hamas murders civilians?
And before you argue other countries murder civilians as well, have you already forgotten the sources I used about Hamas using foreign and their own civilians as human shields?
Have you already forg-

Bah, I do not see this as a productive use of my time,
I disagree with your assessment, is what I'll say.

Yes, because its not adjusted for inflation.

In today's dollars, we gave Israel over trillion dollars.

Moneywise reported that the U.S. dollar has lost 98% of its purchasing power since 1971.

You don't think Israel's neighbors who have repeatedly declared war, and been defeated by Israel pose a threat to Israel?
No, since US can come at any moment and delete those neighbors from existence. Plus, Israel itself has some of the most expensive equipment in the world, including F 35. What does Egypt have, again? And we are not even talking about Egypt here, but much poorer Palestine who realistically cant even touch Israel's military. It took them 5000 rockets to overcome Iron Dome, and even then they havent caused any significant damage to Israel's military. To say that Israel is in some danger is simply overreacting to whats happening.

If Israel loses the war, sounds a bit that they'll get genocided by the victors
There is no way that Israel loses war against Palestine, with or without all the US help that will come pouring in Israel's pockets.

While there are Palestinians in Israel, what Israelis would be allowed in Palestine?
When Hamas murders civilians?
And before you argue other countries murder civilians as well, have you already forgotten the sources I used about Hamas using foreign and their own civilians as human shields?
There were plenty of Israel's crimes that were committed. Israel itself is an occupator since they declared Jewish state on Palestinian territory.

Some Christians will support Israel and some won't.

It's not like it's only the Jews or Israelis that persecute Christians.

I think the Nazis persecute Christians as much as the next.

In fact, anyone who finds the Christians to be a competitor will do so.
