The primary differences between you and I is that my life has never revolved around online activity, and that I am capable of developing as a person.

They do their mod business in private, very discreet, privacy and so on.
Yet, Bsh threw you under the bus when he was asked about Wylted's ban, he said to talk with Castin. I think you also came onboard that thread with an explanation, citing that Wylted crossed the line... in fact, you then said this to RM...
Rash, no matter how angry I was at someone or how harsh they were being on me, I would never go after their family and say "your kids will commit suicide". That's crossing a line.
I would suspect that armed with all this you would want to remain consistent in your moderation and immediately take it to your mod team and seriously discuss what should be done, don't you think?

Nopers. You have heard all the complaints that we aren't being laissez-faire enough right. I don't know, wonder what would happen if it came out that mods were running around reporting stuff even if no members had felt any need to report it. Those damn oppressive control freak mods, poking their noses in everyone's business, always trying to catch people doing stuff they didn't even do. Nah, unless it's threats or doxxing, I'm gonna try to leave it up to members for now, in the spirit of laissez-faire.
You have to remember that there will always be users like Outplayz, or possibly thett or Resurge, who won't think even something like what Rash said merits a report, and who would probably be kinda angry if a mod butted in and reported it. If I can avoid that, I'd prefer to.

I wish I could tell you more about this. I just don't have insider details about all the factors that went into the punishments for those cases. But there's a good chance there was context about them that you weren't aware of.

That's not really throwing me under the bus, is it? I made the call, so I had to explain it. And if necessary, defend it. He couldn't answer for me. He was actually the offended party in that case.
I have no authority over RM. I don't get to decide what to do with him. It's not my job to even contemplate the question, strictly speaking. The mods haven't recused themselves from him that I'm aware of. So it's their business and Rash's business.

Y'know, I don't think that's a bad point. It would probably be a good time to organize and get our affairs in order. We haven't really done that since my appointment. I've been kind of hesitant because the whole point of my position is to maintain distance from the more intimate dealings of the mods. I shouldn't be involved very much in their affairs until they need me for a recusal case. But a degree of coordination is still desirable, and consistency is important. Hopefully it won't inflame accusations that I am now a fully fledged assimilated member of the mod clique cabal.

I actually don't know that, no. I do know that when he feels threatened and hostile he can enter define periods of "fuck you all I don't care, burn this place down". Outside of those periods, though, he actually often expresses that he cares about the site quite a lot.
Basically Catin is a fag hag dry humping mods when they need told it's ok and users when the mods want them to shut up. Thank goodness they found an atheist in the religion forum with no moral compass to back them up.

I'd like to quote Goldtop in relevance to the situation. This could have been avoided if RM had just ignored me and REF lol. Sadly, he is very passionate in his belief that others are culpable of his actions and genuinely believes that said actions exist under a blanket statement of justice. It seems hopeless for him and at his age I am very skeptical about his ability to reform.
