If you are worried about taunting on this site you have a lot of work to do, but trying to grab the lunatics here by the lapels and shake them and tell them to stop the insanity and recognize they made a terrible mistake in voting for and supporting Trump is totally necessary and appropriate here.
This guy was impeached twice. He lied in office over 30,000 times. He instigated an insurrection that led to hundreds of assaults on police officers, hundreds of convictions including insurrection and people dying. He mishandled the Covid pandemic that killed over a million Americans and now he has been indicted twice with more indictments to come. Yeah, I think it’s pretty important to try to intervene here and make a emotional appeal to sanity.
The country is messed up because 80 million Americans support that moron.

Bullshit. We have record low unemployment and an expanding GDP. Inflation, caused by supply chain issues and greed, is moderating.
He has passed several important pieces of legislation including the infrastructure bill and the CHIPS bill and handled the hostage negotiations with the Republicans adeptly. The deficit is lower than the 3 trillion handed over by Trump by half.
There’s been no lying, no scandals, no resignations, no revolving door at the White House, no cabinet full of acting secretaries, no “perfect phone calls” trying to shake down foreign leaders. No collusion with Russians at Trump Tower, no indictments of of government officials working for Biden.
But you say Biden was a mistake because you’re a dummy.

- Emotional appeals are subjective and tend to simply reinforce the existing position. Trump is the master of the emotional appeal and you are never going to out-emotion a guy who's appealing to humanity most primitive impulses- kill outsiders who don't look like you, sharing is for suckers, etc. Do you really feel like your present tactics have changed hearts and minds on this site? If anything, this political play is an admission from the Democrat party that today's Democracy is irreversibly broken to the point that the only recourse is to use the alphabet agencies to remove a threat to the country instead of a democratic election.

I have seen results in getting people to use better sources of information. Some of the people who usually go to bloggers on YouTube have sometimes used mainstream media because they know those other sources will be rejected out of hand.

The Justice Department couldn’t bring charges against him as President because of a long standing policy.
The procedure is to impeach him which was done.
Then the Senate put their political careers ahead of the country and mostly voted on party lines fearful of the wack job base in the Republican Party.
But Trump isn’t President anymore so the Justice Department can do their job.

Then he said he wasn't filing charges. I think that's the 1st time I realized what, "Rules for Thee, but NOT for Me!" truly meant. I really HATE our political royalty with the FBI royal guard in this country!

Nothing is being rigged you idiot. The Justice Department is charging Trump for crimes because he committed crimes. That is what they are supposed to do. Biden does NOT control the Justice Department. The same way Trump couldn’t control AG Jeff Sessions. He did have an ally in Bill Barr until he wanted Barr to go too far and Barr resigned. Barr did undermine the MUELLER report for Trump by lying about its’ results. Mueller objected and Barr said too bad.

What, what did they find? A few emails were classified, sent to her. Some of them were classified after they had been sent. That doesn’t compare to what Trump did or even what General Petraus did.
And then Comey screwed up, said they were reopening the investigation to look at Anthony Wiener’s computer and that probably cost Hillary the election. It cost her 80,000 votes in 3 battleground states.
