Are you describing a man or a catholic man?

There are three different types of man, as far as I'm concerned, the alpha male, the sigma male, and the beta male. I guess you were describing the last one, but the other types of man have other concerns rather than the family and the like.
The whole "Sigma, Alpha, Beta Male" thing is just basically horoscope like zodiac signs for men. 

I am describing what a man should look like and act like in my opinion.

I suppose that's the fundamentals but all men essentially want respect, and they want to be dignified in something that is MUCH larger than them.
Yes, men want respect. Men also want sex, but they have to work for that. Same goes for respect.

I agree.

But a true man should not seek out these things in a way that makes him overconfident.
Now confidence is good and is a great thing for men. to have.
But having too much confidence can lead to pride and boasting. Those are aspects of a lot of men that is not attractive to women, nor friendly to other men.

A man should get respect, honor, and dignity from the things that he has done in his life, over things that he accomplishes. Not just simply because he demands it.

This also applies to the creation of suburbs. Suburbs are the ultimate manifestation of individualistic liberalism. The sense of community is destroyed for the efficiency of the individual. The boomer parent gets to quadruple their wealth in a nice little corporate made house that looks identical to every single fucking house in the neighborhood, go to work to some urban company 45 minutes away, and then muh "kick out the kids at 18" happens, then they go and live off in senior living while their children struggle to maintain the same quality of life. The entire system is built to disconnect men from their work and families and I can't think of anything more soul-sucking.

I don't disagree on a fundamental level, but don't pretend that women are attracted to this, nor pretend that these qualities will help men succeed in 2022, because they won't.

What is wrong with a man taking responsibility, and to go even further, why wouldn't a man take responsibility?

Men aren't the ones who are supposed to be talking about their feelings to everyone. They are supposed to suppress those feelings, for the greater good of others, because a real man is the one who cares for others over himself and does his best to lead them. A leader isn't supposed to go to therapy, or cry to his followers about the troubles in his life. He is supposed to lead and help others with this struggle. Men are leaders, by instinct and that leadership quality and ability is why we suppress our emotions more. 

Now it's of course not bad to have emotions, and it's not bad to express those emotions to others, but in a world, where your masculinity is determined by your ability to suppress your emotions, you have to live and thrive with it. 

Being a man is about leading, and leading comes with a cost. 

A true leader won't whine and complain about his or her emotions. They will instead hold them back for the greater good of others.

I would like to say your OP was closer to the truth than the shit most have posted since.

Dr Franklin talka of creative capacity and the  justified it by patriarchal past limiting opportunities to women.

That is nonsense. However, I agree that men get off on being creative in itself whereas women do it as an escape.


The idea that sex is for respect is some truly sexist BS.


The idea you have that good women don't chase evil men in love is as ridiculous as saying good men don't chase evil women.

Most men do not at all understand other men, in my opinion. We are the gender that is worse at understanding people, that itself is a more feminine area of prowess.

Again, I am not saying that this goes for all women, and all men.

I am saying that objectively this is what innately attracts women to men. 
Of course, now a day, there are more stupid people, and they tend to fall for the stupid tricks of others.
But internally they know that they are not attracted to these types of people. 

For women who are attracted to evil men, I think it has to do with the woman's lack of adventure or risk in her life.
And as for men who fall for evil women, it has to do with loneliness in his life. 

But I am talking about if you are a man that is trying to attract a good woman than these are the traits you must hold.

Whatever it is, man, its more accurate and logical than your oversimplified description.

By the way, there is actually five types of man, so, even better. I'm no saying a man should fall in one category, he can be a combination of them. Because all men are not the same, and we shouldn't be.

Also, most psychologists say generally men go through all those stages at different points in their life depending on how well or fast they develop themselves. Some of those personality traits also change with age.

What do you mean by power in that context and how have you determined that women are superior to men at deception while men are superior at... is it gaining, maintaining or using control?
