@PREZ-HILTON
We even respect illegal aliens. We just think they should have a path to get here legally, and their countries should get some assistance in joining us as free and prosporous so they feel no need to immigrate to begin with.
No, that is literally the Democrat platform.

dude, you can't be fucking serious.

Reagan was the biggest POS for immigrants ever, I am not even going to bother googling anything to prove it. I know.

I am only familiar with his rhetoric on the issue. I can tell you what I mentioned is a conservative position. I know this because I am a conservative and it's my position. The main difference between liberals and conservatives on immigration is that republicans are welcoming of legal immigration while liberals basically just want to erase borders and have a free for all.

@Wylted
I think republicans outside of the south generally share the same opinion as democrats outside of the south have on it.
I disagree.  Republicans in northern counties are pro rebel flag.

They support the flag because of southern pride not rebel pride.
What’s the difference?

Conservatives generally want immigrants, but they want them to appear legally and in small enough numbers to keep America a melting pot.

We even respect illegal aliens. We just think they should have a path to get here legally
The legalization process is too expensive and I don’t really see the point in it.  Some undocumented immigrants can’t afford it.  If the process becomes free, your shifting the burden onto taxpayers.  It’s better to not have a process so nobody has to pay.

I understand why you feel that way if you never took the time to learn conservative opinions
I try to.  But I’ve met conservatives that wanted undocumented immigrants shot, so some people are nuts.  The majority of conservatives want the undocumented deported.  That’s 3% of the country.

What you are is an overly concerned person with ethnic and racial longevity, that's my perspective.
Correct. And the reason why is simply because that stuff matters. People WANT their children to look like them, and their grandkids, and so on. On the other side, people should look back to their parents, grandparents, and so on. Cultural legacies matter, and they affect us everyday. People are just inheritably tribalistic, they want to see their culture, religion, and people survive and thrive. But that's not happening for whites in America. There are more white deaths than births and the total white population of the US peaked in 2014 and is continuing to go down year after year. To me, that is concerning.
