Also, if we’re pressuring Airmax for a gender claim more than we are for activity I still like a policy lynch on Grey better.
Unless Airmax refuses gender claim. That can lead to more questioning of him.

My reads aren't so easy to explain, but it's POE, I have minor scumtells on sui and I get Mikal's Earth fos - whiteflame's trying to shift it over to sui seemed buddying and distancing.
I wrote about the exact sort of scumtell that I have on sui in a recent game on here also I'm pretty sure. It's a bit artsy, but I believe in it.
I take funny sort of reads usually, I'm more used to playing without themes. A good read is always the first posts of a person, I find. I think mafia feel a pressure there, actually I'd bet most first posts that are all caps are actually made by mafia, as if bursting up through that pressure.
See Sui's first post. Mafia are under pressure to post. There's often too much of an energy when they do post, because it takes more of an energy. Same reason you'll get mafia inactives.
That read won't suit everyone but I want to lynch him lol.

The mafia. If GP is survivor, he doesn't kill townies. I'd rather get mafia than I'd get survivor. GP could also be lying as well, but I am leaning toward him just being survivor

Tbh I was right with you on the thought process to this. It's actually a higher tier read. It seemed inflated and not organic. Like he was posting what *should happen* and not *not was*. Also the fact that he seemed like he was trying to set himself to guide the game by saying he has theme knowledge at a decent level.
Then I played live Mafia with him last night and he's just as nervous and stuttery in how he talks. I had a massive town read on him one game and I was objectively right and almost went back on the read because he was stuttering and nervous and wanted to lynch me as confirmed cop. I think when he gets in situations where he does not know what to do. He almost over commits and that is typically a Mafia tell because it's like he is posting fluff in ways but after last night it may be his personality

I also picked up on the trying to make himself seem valuable. Honestly, I don't care, I still want to lynch him lol. The worst part of forum mafia is sitting around with an idea for days.
If you want an argument as to why he should at least claim, he seems one of very few that has theme knowledge. Dangerous mafia, something something.

That's likely why it won't matter. At this point he's had time to work on stuff. It's like 2 days in. Dude could probably claim the most obscure character in the show and none of us would recognize it. That's the rough part about a game where literally no one knows theme except for like 1 person.
Judging from what people have said no one knows this. Also incentive for mafia to just claim their real characters because no one else would pick up on split. (also happened last night when bullish did a stock theme game)
That's why I want to push someone and I'd prefer earth since I think he's the most likely to slip. Someone is likely not going to slip with a character claim because there is no one to catch it (other than sui which I am leaning town towards but it's a very early read). I think locking someone into a roll is a better way to catch something off. Chances of cc are high if it's the first person to claim and we land on Mafia.
Either that or it's some obscure role like pie and pacifist last night.

I think Earth claims PR. I also like his leftfield thinking wondering after womanisers or whatever the fuck. That did not seem for our benefit, rather actually trying to figure out the theme.
I think you're probably town tbh Mikal. I am down to pressure whoever the fuck then to try to get you to lynch Sui.
I also know nothing about the show. Will probably have to read the wiki lol
I read Earth's first post as "I rolled cop lol, better actually read the wiki".
Probably anti-town to out that, but reads are more fun than roles anyways.

I think any mafia is going to attempt to look at theme or behavior in an attempt to emulate town behavior.
The issue with with the 2 choices.
1) sui knows theme. We push him as town and he's town. We lose our only source of game knowledge. If he's scum, he's the most likely to not fuck up or come up with something believable because he knows theme
2) earth is newer and does not know theme. He's way more likely to fuck up imo
I just think we get no solid information out of a sui pressure. Maybe if we go all the way and get his full claim but I think we could cause slips on other people who are more likely to fuck up because of lack of knowledge
I forgot mafia aren't removed from the chat when lynched. I was thinking along the lines of Sui would be dangerous mafia where character claims and their significance was concerned.

There is a non-complex theme split and that's about the only information I will publicly reveal about this game. I won't answer questions about other setup things, like whether mafia were given fake claims, etc.

I agree with that totally. I just think because he knows the theme, it's just as dangerous now. Anyone who knows theme can dictate a game. But we have waited so long to pressure that if he is Mafia it's likely pointless now.
