And the answer is the same reason you didn't? We don't all have that path in life.

And that's why casinos always make money, because there will always be suckers out there that think wealth can be decided by fate rather than choices.

It's a well known fact Democrats buy more lottery tickets and make some really shit lifestyle choices.

Also, I am retired at 51 due to some nice investments and good choices. I don't play the lottery or gamble or drink or smoke either.

Doctor says I am in very good health for my age and weight.

If you're a fatalist, why do you care at all what happens around you anyway? Just let shit happen to you I guess.

Bullshit philosophy imo.

@Rm Did you know the founder of twitter and google and Microsoft all forbid their kids from using cell phones?

Think about that for a minute while discussing bad lifestyle choices.

no im not a fatalist.

this argument is bullshit.

1. not everyone has a good education.

2. not everyone makes good investments, people make mistakes.

3. not everyone is born well in a well family

4. people who go to prison aren't able to get a job so easily

5. People who are born in a bad neighborhood will likely not make the best decisions

looks like you got a little bit of white privilege going on  (let me guess "thats racist against white people")

What's skin color got to do with making good choices? Are people with the wrong skin color fated to make bad choices no matter what?
Or doubly worse, are people with the right skin color fated to make the correct life choices no matter what?
What a bullshit philosophy.

Ever watch good will hunting? You can educate yourself at a library if you made the choice to invest in yourself for the cost of some late fees.

Good clip here for sure.

What do you think of rich people like Bill Gates, Jack Dorsey, and Sundar Pichai (not a whitey) saying they would never let their kids choose to use social media even though they made billions off of it?

What does that say about the fucked up parents of all skin colors that made bad choices for their kids regarding the use of social media?

I find it absolutely ridiculous without hesitation that you believe in a sort of racial fatalism depending on the arbitrary shade of your skin as if it was some form of birth defect or disability.

These days you are privileged if you aren't raised by a single mom regardless of your skin shade.

Bill gates built his wealth out of a garage, why didn't you?
You do know that 330 million people can’t all be the richest person in America right?

Libertarian socialists want no government at, no state, things like free healthcare are just badges in the system you can be a libertarian socialist and support progressive laws on some other basis while still wanting no government.
How are you getting free healthcare if there is no government?  You can't have both.

it like me saying your not a right wing libertarian because you support age of consent laws
Anarchists by my definition don't want age of consent laws.  I'm not an anarchist.  Libetarians want anything that is victimless to be legal.

you claim to hate authoritarian yet you think private property is not a form of authority
It's your property; you own it.  If you think this is bad, you can welcome strangers in your home.  It shouldn't be forced by the government.

its not very libertarian of you to want corporate supergiants controlling where you can and cant do.
How does this happen?  Corporations don't ban me from doing much stuff.
