What type of conversation happens in the scum PM where Earth's partner tells him to change his claim from bodyguard to bulletproof?
You're assuming that he had a conversation in the first place, maybe he just did his own thing, plenty of scum do
Also plenty of people have made "why would his teammates let him do that" kind of decisions, GP is a great example

I'm at the point where Pie is either mafia hunting down an easy mislynch, but I felt that way with TUF mafia, or a Town seething at bad play or whatever. I think whiteflame was on my wagon that game, so while I like to put Lunatic in town, its possible that he's mafia, knows I'm town and rather focus on getting other better mislynches. So I know I might give Pie shit and he might be a try hard, but he's probably at the top of my town list. Its honestly frustrating that most, or at least a plurality of the posts in this game were related to me and it will mostly go to waste when I eventually get lynched and Town goes "lol shit play Earth" and everyone has to comb through and see who was on my wagon, who wasn't.

There was a whole night phase for this conversation to have happened. So basically the only way it didn't happen is if both scum are noobs...

I don't see GP make a ton of slips like that outside of maybe live maifa where pressure can occur much quicker. But from the games I've modded where he's been scum he usually communicates and asks his scum partner what he should do or claim before claiming.
The pace of his responses, and the low activity of the game in general allows him plenty of time to make calculated decisions with his partner if he's scum. Also I just don't think earth is that nooby. I've played in at least 5 games with him since he's been back. I can see someone messing up like that in like their first or second game. But apparently earth was playing here before I even made my return to mafia in 2018. As far as getting something mixed up in your PM, I see vets do it all the time. It's infuriating, but there just really isn't much scum motivation there to change the claim if you are actually scum for precisely the reason that is happening now, look how quickly you and disc jumped that wagon thoughtlessly.

Arguments like these can be annoying. ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT FORREST FIRES.
Only you can redirect a phase to a more productive option. Frankly complaining that the conversation was stuck between wylted and oro dp1, to now complaining that it is about you doesn't solve the problem. Luckily we are still early in the phase 2, so what do you think is a better push and why? Be the change you want to see in the world!

what about role claims.
I don't like the idea of pushing for claims at all actually. I think thats a DDO thing that just carried on over here. It's kind of backward thinking from a town perspective. On sites like epic mafia, or Mafia Universe I've noticed no one pressures for claims. You find scummy behavior, you call it out, and if their responses aren't satisfactory you lynch the player. If they have a claim that you feel is just too good to be fake, you can re-consider at that point, but behaviorally you just lynch the scummy player. We have a bad habit on this site of just unvoting immediately after someone claims, as if scum are never provided fake role claims, or aren't capable of big braining a claim. Long story short; role claiming doesn't just erase scummy behavior. That's why in pie's game I never asked badger for a claim once when I was "tunneling him" (according to him).

I could probably get on board one of these wagons, but I see no rush. I see speed acting scummily, and not really giving me any reason to think otherwise yet, but we should be questioning DD and whiteflame at the same time. I am doing that with disc atm regarding his vote on Earth. Whiteflame... More of a gut tell on him. He's saying the right things, but something still feels... off with him.

If you are talking about me, I am just telling earth that if he is town his time is better spent trying to find a better lynch then and pursuading others of his thoughts, rather than stick to complaining that the whole phase is being wasted arguing about him. Would you not agree?
I agree with the role claim point. I personally think speed is town and would like to see him role claim so others can look elsewhere and feel better about him
