Hey Shila.

I exercise more than most 64 year olds do.

Today it's been 1 hour exercise bike and 2 hours dog walking.

Looking forwards to better weather and longer daylight, so that I can get out and do some 60 milers.

Longer if circumstances allow.

Mr's Zeds mother is frail and lives 90 miles away... They need to spend as much remaining time together as possible....You get that don't you?

A veggie Zedku for Shila.

My favourite is perhaps purple sprouting broccoli.

Though, I will eat all veg.

Potatoes and carrots are staples.

Love beetroot

And parsnips

And asparagus

And cabbage

Brussels sprouts too

Beans

Any beans

And don't forget the peas.

Cauliflower cheese, yum.

And everything comes with the wonderful onion.

And garlic if I remember.

Capsicums a go go.

Chilli's

But I don't like them hot.

Sweet potatoes without a doubt.

And give the humble swede a shout.

Turnip

Courgette (Zucchini)

Aubergini.

Tomato's a fruit isn't it?

Watercress

Any cress

Celeriac

Celery

Leek

Kale

Rocket

Lettuce, any type.

Never fail.

Mushrooms

But they're fungi

All good when you're hungry.

I wonder if one could make money selling 'wooden products of various devices that people use.
Because of the microplastics everywhere worry.

Such as 'wooden mice or wooden keyboards for computers, Though some products might still need 'some plastic in them.

Ask a Chinaman.

Though tariffs might be a problem.

Though as I see it, micro-plastics are a naturally occurring environmental component...Material evolution in progress, as it were.

So, humans overthink everything, selfishly creating plastics, and then selfishly deciding to worry about them.

One might suggest that Planet Earth is the inevitable supplier of necessary resources, needed to facilitate a greater universal purpose.

Either that, or nothing matters at all...In which case, why do we need to care about micro-plastics?

I looked online after my post,
Actually quite a few wooden mice and keyboards that one can buy online.

"in a study, patients with carotid artery plaque in which MPs and nanoplastics (NPs) were detected had a higher risk of a composite of myocardial infarction, stroke, or death from any cause in 34 months. These potential threats can be life-threatening compared to the chronic diseases caused by MPs"

I'm a human boy, in a human world,
So much plastic, not fantastic,
It is in my brain, might give me quite the strain,
A blood disruption, feel my vessels ruption.

More seriously,
I think the health study of microplastics is still in early phases, but I still think it might be a concern for humans.
Humanities use of lead in various products was surely a stepping stone in advancement,
'Still not something we want to make cups or water pipes out of anymore.
. . .

Well, even if nothing matters, practically speaking, I'm not going to 'feel like nothing matters.

In this case I cared because I like thinking about ways to make money,
And figured some people might worry about plastic contamination or the environment, and thus might buy said products.

I suppose we have 3D printers now, but 'usually those still use plastic I think.

1} 3D Printer PVC killer

2} 3D PVC weapon killers

......can hydrogen bombs be made from PVC? Can they be housed in PVC?

......can PVC bullets penetrate flesh? Clothing?  Glass?

3} 3D micro-plastics = slow killers

4} ?

I wonder if one could make money selling 'shielded clothing.
Some people like to wear tinfoil hats,
And there's always people worried about this or other, the this in this case being all the electronics effects on human bodies.

But people also often like looking normal,
Thus 'normal disguised looking shielded clothing.
People also like 'seeming to be or have something superior.
Hm.

One Google later, nope, said product already commonly exists. . . Darn.
. . .

I wonder if shielding could prove harmful at all,
Like a bullet ricocheting inside a metal helmet or suit of armor.

There's a book, Anathem by Neal Stephenson.
Lot of it about these secluded cloisters monks who pursue knowledge and logic.
I recall them singing songs about various proofs and concepts, though the book was not explicit.

Can't say I can recall very often hearing music based around Knowledge/History/Logic.
Lot of songs about historical persons and events I suppose, as Sabaton does, or historyteachers on YouTube.
Gale Sings 'The Elements' Bonus Scene | Better Call Saul.
Hm, probably a fair number of educational songs, probably even playlists for such exist.

"A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog" - Jack London
Jack London is one of few writers actually worth reading. I recommend his book "Martin Eden". Its one of his better works, especially if you read it while siding with the philosophy of power. Yes, the world belongs to the noble strong beasts who dont make compromises and dont engage in most activities of majority.

"Nietzsche was right. I won't take the time to tell you who Nietzsche was, but he was right. The world belongs to the strong - to the strong who are noble as well and who do not wallow in the swine-trough of trade and exchange. The world belongs to the true nobleman, to the great blond beasts, to the noncompromisers, to the 'yes-sayers."

I've not read that one, onto the reading list it goes.

But as to your assertions,
I reply, what is strength and power?
I say, means, which see unto ends.

There can be power in compromise, in cooperation.
As ego brutes tear into one another with vicious lack of cooperation, the meek are able to pool their strength and inherit.

I think there can also be power in a lack of cooperation,
But either case is situational, and at chance times, beyond efforts.

I think even when one is bodily enslaved by another,
Might has not made right, only circumstance,
The world continues to reside in both,
Perception and judgements still made by both,
The possible future is not closed off, even in jail, not even in an iron lung,
A human 'lives, thinks, acts deliberate, wills.

Still, proactivity is often useful, carves paths, future cuts.
Ego can see a person hold to their purposes and endeavors, achieve where another might not.
