Unhealthy is a human concept relative to itself.

Whereas stuff is and stuff evolved and is evolving.

The refinement of metals and the development of plastics is undoubtedly an evolutionary necessity, and their effects upon us are simply a consequence thereof.

Perhaps.

Or maybe a few billion years from now, the Earth will be inconsequentially destroyed,  and we will have gotten nowhere else and achieved nothing of universal significance.

Some actions are hard to take back
The law of entropy of society says that all societies naturally degrade into many disorders unless there is a system in place to constantly remove disorders. This is because, in all systems, as time goes by, the chance for disorder to appear only increases. And the more time passes, more disorders happen. It is much easier to create a disorder than to remove it, but not removing disorders results in faster collapse. Only a system which removes disorders from itself by itself in an effective way is a sustainable system. Thus, disorders like violence, crime, corruption... if left unremoved, only multiply. As one damaged part tends to break other non-damaged parts.

The combination of societal evolution, medical advancements, economic pressures, and lifestyle changes contribute to the rising number of recognized disorders. Some of this increase reflects real trends, while some is due to better identification and changing definitions.

Thats a very negative attitude. Never lose hope.

I simply presented alternative hypotheses, in respect of material progress and the role of humanity therein.

At a personal level, with good health and a comfortably lifestyle , I am able to remain reasonably positive for now.

Though when I die, "hope" will cease to be an issue.

Any wonder Trump reduced foreign aid. More help is required by Americans.

For sure.

Death finalises all our hopefulness.

Though decrepitude may also eventually, severely increase the futility of hope.

And if you teach and encourage kids to have health issues, they will certainly want them.

In a way, health issues have become trendy...The more bizarre the better.
