Why isn't there some easy to find webpage,
With a list of every politician,
Tagged with your state or district,
Where on each of their profiles, it has a list of votes they've made, along with statements then and currently by them, as to 'why they made that vote,
Bills or Amendments to Bills they introduced, along with statements by them, then and currently, as to 'why,
I say then and currently, as people should be able to change their minds, or acknowledge mistakes in the past,
So on so forth?

My 'guess would be politics involves too much lying and metagaming, by metagaming I mean strategy, political maneuvering, deals between individuals and groups, so you can pass or block certain bills, sounds a headache.

I'm unsure if politics would be better, worse, or the same, if one attempted to introduce transparency.

Some subjects, I'd suppose 'require secrecy, but I think I might prefer such a website if I were to found and be 'part of a new country, myself.

Then again, maybe the 'number of votes and bills and such is an issue?

"The 115th Congress introduced over 10,000 bills between 2017 and 2019, and 443 of these were signed into law by the president."

I actually agree with some conservative's criticisms of modern architecture. One of liberal society's flaws is that it's created a maze of options that is tough to navigate if you're the average person and can cut people off from the natural beauty of the world. On the flip side, of course, liberalism has allowed for people to make choices based on their personalities and its pretty impressive how so many different walks of life can peacefully coexist in the same civilization (though there will definitely still be plenty of interference).

I suppose it 'would be easier to travel cities,
If everything was placed by a city planner,
Though individuals like owning their own land,
Though land 'is a bit placed by city planners,
No homes in the fast food section, so on.

Something I like about early machinima, as I see them,
Is their use of the game engines,
Like Red Vs Blue, when I liked it, seasons 1-5.
'Mostly was the game engine,

Original animation, anime, cartoons, so on, sound expensive to produce,
For a person without great funds, sounds better to use something else,
Take WoW for example,
One can just use emotes and X number of people to act and film something.

Though I suppose the writing and voice acting needs to step up,
If one discards using original drawings,
Also the problem of copyright, I suppose.

Would giants be able to use tools, or craft items?
Maybe having such large fingers and eyes, they'd have trouble with finer details?

A Giant would have normal sized giant fingers and eyes,  and craft stuff relative to it's dexterity.

Whereas a Giant would think that we had tiny fingers and eyes.

Just like a Lemming thinks that we are huge.

Heh,
Still, would a giant even be able to start a fire?
Sparks are tiny,
Tinder is tiny,
One has to pay close attention and detail, to start a fire, blow on it, but not too hard.

Well, how big is a mythical Giant?

So, mythical sparks and mythical tinder.

Or maybe Giants just harvested lava from volcanoes.

Anything is possible in fantasy land.

In my fantasy world, Lemmings wear stripy T-shirts and pink shorts and build space rockets for Unicorns.

Comparing fantasy with fact is a tad futile.

Sizes vary, per the thought I was imagining 'huge giants we'd fit in the palm for,
But for my video game, I'd probably only go 12-18 feet tall.

Well, there's hard and soft fantasy,
And then there's fantasy where it's soft, but has hard rules,
Maybe giants would find some methods of fire-starting easier, like if they rubbed a couple trees together,
Or their difficulty having trouble with fine details would be a reason for them to have servants, or be very careful to keep fires and coals going, rather than starting new ones.

Harvesting lava sounds awesome though.

Because language works differently in different places. In some languages a single word represents many ideas(which are sometimes even puns that English does not have). In some languages a sentence can be represented by a single English word. If we just just translate it idea by idea, we would lose the rhymes and the artistic value. If we keep the artistic value, there is an almost 100% chance that we will lose some ideas or add unnecessary ones.

Sleeping is a good way to pass the time since you can go from 10pm to 6am in the blink of an eye. Too bad I can’t sleep right now for some reason.

The giants in Norse myth can be craftsmen and have great halls and parties. Skaldi is a skier an expert at archery. Her father, Thjazi, was a brick layer and built the walls of Asgard. Gerd, Freyr's wife is a gardner of delicate plants.

A giant being a expert at archery you say.
That puts a picture in ones head.
And a interest  on the size of the target.

Giant archery would have to be easier then normal human size archery.
I might infact be better at giants archery then a giant.

Fair point,
Yet some songs seem so popular, it 'seems to me like it'd be worth it, to translate entire bands songs into different languages, even if bits of meaning are lost.
Though I say worth it in terms of money, there 'are also a number of songs I enjoy that are from another language, or are English to a different language.
Disney seems to translate all their songs, but they'd also have the 'payroll and experience to do so, I'd suppose.

It is fun that there's a great many giants in myth and stories to draw inspiration from.

Is it easier to aim a ballista, than a bow?
Or artillery, than a rifle?

I don't ask that to claim it's not, I just don't know.

@Self
Darn, forgot my random thought, as I thought about songs and giants.

Subconsciously most likely. The connectivity that make up the thoughts are still there. It’s known in cognitive science that you can have a thought without being aware of it. But that’s seconds before you’re consciously aware from what I understand. I guess it would have to depend how strong the thought/connectivity is. Muscle memory could be an example.

Well, on religion I'd agree.

More specifically though, I meant my view on transgenders and their pronouns.

Well, arguably I hold the same view as other atheists,
A lack of belief in deities, and further in any afterlife or souls,
Though I differ from certain vocal anti-theists, as I think belief in deities, afterlives, souls, is a reasonable enough position for a human to arrive at, though I don't hold it myself.
Perhaps I would feel different if I lived in an atheist culture.

But this relates to transgenderism I suppose,
In that like belief in deities, I believe transgenderism to be mistaken,
Perhaps the differences is that I don't think transgenderism to be a reasonable position to hold,

But maybe that is just a preconceived stance I have, due to my experiences,
Perhaps religion and transgenderism are both as reasonable or unreasonable, though I don't 'see it as such.

And even if transgenderism 'were unreasonable,
Would such excuse trite remarks or links to satire YouTube videos?
Hm, just an idle thought of mine, considering slightly my actions, thoughts.

Animist and polytheist cultures have always been open to gender fluidity. That's probably why I don't have a problem with it I worship gods that are gender fluid
I'm not sure why people find it so hard to comprehend or understand or have a hard time with it. I guess I just tend to take people with their face value someone says I feel like I'm a woman inside a man's body and I want to live like a woman I'm okay with that.

A Zedku for

I care not,

Who worships what,

Or,

Who thinks they are whatever.

But I enjoy discussing such things,

Openly.

Though some people seemingly,

Dislike the idea,

Of other people,

Having,

Alternative opinions.

Especially if,

Alternative opinions,

Are too logical.

Well, I think it's the 'illogical (From some views) options that bother people,
Though even some logical options bother people, if they violate their values.

As for care,
I suppose there's something to be said for leaving people be as individuals,
'But humans have to interact, schools and instruction exist,
Thus one has a care about social actions, politeness, boundaries, perceived harm.
