Is this a meaningless life?
No, that’s why I believe in a heaven that validates that life.
Do you believe that all people who lived before Abraham automatically get into heaven?

I don’t know why?
Here's another way of asking the same question.

Do you believe the lives of Hindus are ultimately meaningless?

No. wanting to go to heaven is a goal which is subjective, even if heaven existed, not everyone would want to go - you have yet to prove that god exists in the first place, so your running ahead on two fronts, again, personal increduality does not excuse your faulty logic here.

I’ve already acknowledged that other side of the argument when I said if God doesn’t exist then nihilism is true, but your not a nihilist are you?

False Dichotomy, and you haven't addressed the main part of the current argument.

That’s because I knew if I did it would only lead up to the point I did address so let’s get into that shall we? Unless you can prove your side to be a valid option (which you haven’t because like you said it only works if goals are “moral” and you haven’t proven they are so as far as this discussion is concerned this current syllogism like your last is dismissed) then the only other side outside of theism is nihilism.

Nihilist is a word that says a lot but means very little.

Well....Other than in your bible the dictionary.

Peoples lives have various purposes and and therefore ongoing meaningfulness....They don't need you and your books to tell them how to think.

And as it stands realistically, heaven is a meaningless assumption....Though some people might derive comfort from the idea of a heaven.....Such is how we manipulate data.

Though I would suggest that pinning your hopes on an afterlife in a heaven, is somewhat missing the plot...And also a tad, wishful thinking.

But if that is how the database has been programmed.

Nonetheless if you are so certain of a heaven and have all the relative facts....Then tell me what can one hope to achieve there?....What is ones purpose in heaven?

Prove it.

Such is how we manipulate data.
If there’s no heaven then there’s no data to manipulate.

Though I would suggest that pinning your hopes on an afterlife in a heaven, is somewhat missing the plot...And also a tad, wishful thinking.
Excuse me, but what is the plot? Because last I checked I initiated this dialogue so if anybody knows the plot it’s me.

Then tell me what can one hope to achieve there?
Ideally, eternal happiness.

... Seriously? Are you honestly taking this dialogue seriously?
Yes, of course.

Are you suggesting that some people will get into heaven and some won't?

Who gets in and who doesn't?

And furthermore, (IFF) a life is only meaningful if one gets to heaven (THEN) all lives that don't get to heaven are meaningless (worthless).

So, heaven is NIRVANA?

Is heaven like a HEROIN OVERDOSE?

Eternal happiness doing what?

And ask people what gives their lives purpose.

And no heaven no data....Nope, no data no heaven.

And the only plot as far as we know it, is birth, life and death.

Afterlife is speculation....And assuming to have actual knowledge of an afterlife, is fantasy.

Nonetheless... Hypothesising, I would suggest continuity rather that eternity, and the human purpose therein would be to instigate and advance a process of knowledge and material development, to achieve the ultimate principle of knowledge necessary to ensure continuity.

No idling around in a heaven somewhere with stupid grins on our faces, for eternity.

I don’t know I’m not Him.

No both lives have meaning in the sense that one life MEANS your good and the other MEANS your bad.

I don’t know, why does that matter?

And ask people what gives their lives purpose.
A lot of people would say God, an argument your not using.

And no heaven no data....Nope, no data no heaven.
What’s the difference?

And the only plot as far as we know it, is birth, life and death.
Speak for yourself dude, I know a lot more than that.

Afterlife is speculation....And assuming to have actual knowledge of an afterlife, is fantasy.
I’ve already acknowledged that argument, if there’s no afterlife then nihilism is true by default.

the human purpose therein would be to instigate and advance a process of knowledge and material development
All that for what if there’s no heaven to validate?

P3. Therefore the atheist's sensory perceptions and cognitive faculties do not necessarily yield truth.

P4. Therefore if atheism is true,  there is no justification for believing anything to be true.
This argument is just repackaged presuppositionalism.

No worldview solves P3 and P4 contorts the definition of belief.

If happiness is the goal, why wait until AFTER you die?

There's nothing in the decalogue that says, "Thou shalt NOT lay in bed all day hooked up to a heroin drip".

And here, [POST#70]

It’s not an opinion that nobody wants to be unhappy.
And here, [POST#64]

What if you could make an objective case for the goal, like you would be unhappy for eternity if you don’t have this goal. The fact that nobody wants to be unhappy is objective.

Because you seem to think it's the primary source for detecting "objective morality".
