Why are you defending his behaviour so fervently?
If you thought his reason (asking for your claim) wasn't a good reason, then why did you ultimately claim? I am defending Elminster here because night action results implicate supadudz. You are new, so I don't expect you to understand all of this but I'll try to explain.
There are certain roles in this game that do different things to help town, and mafia also have roles that help them. Results from investigative roles are what I am basing the lynching of supadudz off.
Elminster claims to be a sensor. A sensor tells you how many mafia are on a lynch. Elminster says his results indicate that there is 1 mafia on that lynch from yesterday. That means if we find that one mafia member, we know everyone else on that lynch is town. Now he could be lying; but here's why I don't think he is.
1. Speedrace's action line up with his results. Speedrace is a doctor, and can protect people from being night killed. Last night there was no night kill. Speed claims he doctored himself, which would explain why there was no night kill. This means that speed succesfully protected himself.
2. Now Supa claims to be a watcher. Watcher is another investigative role that can watch a player in the night phase to see if anyone visits them. Night phase 1 he claims to have watched elminster1 who claimed hated townie. This makes no sense from a town perspective, because mafia will never kill hated townie when they can mislynch them. Then to make things worse he claimed to watch speedrace night phase 2 and said that no one visited him. Well considering we know that speedrace protected himself and there was no night kill, we know that's not true. So supa is lying about his results.
If supadudz is lying about his results, and elminsters results line up with speedraces results, this demonstrates elminster is town and supadudz is scum. Now there are some extremely rare and convienent things that could make it possible for this to have happened the way speed is trying to say he thinks it happened, but it doesn't make sense for him to believe these things over believing simply that a powerful investigation role like sensor doesn't exist on a town. This is called "tunnel vision". It's when a town member is so afraid of being proven wrong that they won't change their mind on something, even when the evidence overwhelmingly suggests opposite to what they believe. Speed may have good intentions, but he is too worried about being embarrassed by admitting he is wrong here.
Anyways the evidence suggests that supadudz is mafia here. I know you are new and being thrown into the deep end a little bit here, but I will do my best to explain things to you if you have questions.
