Anyways, Elf on the Shelf as tracker is a stretch. It's more likely that the Elf would be a watcher but watcher could go with Santa so maybe it was something Danielle had to shoe-horn in.

I would also by the Elf as a Hider.
I find this post scum oriented, trying to make sure they have a clear idea of which potential threat water presents to the scum team.

Anybody else want to weigh in on characters?  Are we mostly movie and TV characters are there other seasonal aspects?
That was what I thought was going on here, though I'd include book characters as a plausible addition, given that Cindy Lou Who appeared in the book first (at least from what I'm reading - could be wrong).

I can be seen as a character that is related to tv, movie, or other, so it makes sense to me.

Bullish is town because he is hunting scum and he is doing so in a manner that is consistent with how he hunts scum normally. That said, water being more likely town than not, puts Bullish back in my FOS pile, worth keeping an eye on and focus. But not enough info to lynch.

The only real theme analysis I'd put into this is "Does this role justification make sense with this character" On a basis of my own characters role and justification making sense. It won't be enough to town clear someone completely who has behaved scummily, as scum really can be clever sometimes, but it will be something to consider while discussing them. Behavior will still ultimately be the ruling factor I'd hope.
That is worth considering, but again we don't know what combo of fake character/role claims they got. in forum there is just plenty of time to come up with justifications.

You should watch the movie sometime. Jack Skellington is definitely not bad. The premise of the movie is that they discover other holidays than Halloween exist, and Jack is especially excited about christmas, and tries to introduce it to halloweentown.
Okay well that sounds super adorable, and makes your role seem perfectly town sided indeed. Since we are supposed to be saving Christmas after all.

There was probably at least 1 scum on Water's wagon.

WPs claim does seem a little unlike the others.

Without claiming anything specific it would be interesting to know whether players felt they belonged to the "Xmas themed story" character set or more generic "Xmas stuff" set

Pls. re-read your IM and advise whether Elf on a Shelf refers to the popular Xmas ornament or something else....Is Elf on a Shelf a character in a movie I don't know?

So apparently both whiteflame and supa scum read Water, but would rather waste today's lynch on a VTNL.
That is probably because whiteflame IS SCUM and did not want to be on the mislynch of water.

Supa on the other hand is a very cautious player generally, he like me, is often down for a vtnl. could be scum motivation, but right now he reads town to me

Not sure where you put me in this calculation, but my character falls into none and all of these categories. Also, elf on the shelf is not an ornament, it is a doll that comes with a story book that is used to make sure kids behave nicely before xmas. i believe their is a movie too, but mostly it is a book character with an accompanying doll.

I'm sorry I just thoughtlessly edited the above post. (I added move char claim to Bullish)  I promise not to do it again.

Good info.  So potentially an Xmas story character as well.  (although I see the book was written in 2005 and my Mom's family placed felt elves on the hearth going back to the 1950's, at least.)

I mean I pretty much said the same thing as speed did in regards to the whiteflame read, maybe just a little nicer. I don't think he is mis-representing you, I think the read on whiteflame objectively demonstrates you aren't used to his playstyle. I am not saying he is town, but if you were to convince me he was scum it would need to be with different reasons than the ones offered.
This is what is frustrating me. NO ONE is use to his play-style. He is new, evolving, and has only played a few games on this site, per what everyone has said. I pointed out behaviors that scum employs in games, which he has objectively engaged in. You can say that is not enough for you to lynch him, but to claim it is because I don't understand his meta is nonsense. No one knows his meta. He's literally never played as scum on this site. It seems as an outsider who hasn't played with him before I can just as easily have a more objective perspective than all of you. Also, I am playing inconsistent with my meta as town or scum. Thereby exhibiting the limits of meta analysis. it's literally a game of manipulation.

Add ti Water's scummy behavior, that he wouldn't vote to lynch water but had a scum read on him. And that he is throwing random, baseless shade on the elf on the shelf tracker claim

Anyway, what are your thoughts on Drafter?

elves on the hearth is not the same. That sounds both creepy and adorable though. Elf on the Shelf is a coprighted and trademarked character. He spies on little kids and reports back to santa if the kids are bad or good. Also, a creepy tradition if you ask me, but anything to manipulate small children before X-mas I suppose. Parents move the elf everynight into random places in the house (not necessarily shelves) in order to convince the children the elf left and came back.

OK, I'd call that pretty consistent with TRACKER

It's a scum slip. It is a scum oriented thought pattern, that scum did not take the time to reflect on before posting. There is no town utility to the statement, only scum concern and benefit.

TBH this is more compelling than anything water has done himself. Scum reading someone but not lynching them is suspicious.
