I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but votes should also probably be viewable from the profile page along with debates and topics. Forum posts would be nice too, but votes more so.
I'm most eagerly awaiting a proper quote system, mention links that take me directly to the mention rather than the first thread page, and a notification dropdown list. But I know all that has already been talked over and is on the bulletin board.
On the topic of signatures, big sigs annoy me to. Just put a font size limit on it. And don't allow images in signatures, if you ever at some point implement image posting.
For voting, a Select Winner option would be great...I highly prefer that to the 7-point system (if you're unfamiliar with Select Winner, it's where all 7 points are awarded to one side or the other over arguments).
I'm not sure what the character count is for vote explanations, but if it could be higher than 1k characters, that would be nice -- it was a frequent problem on DDO for us to run out of room when writing our reasons for our votes.
I just noticed that this debate somehow has a vote tally of 3-7, yet the sole vote that was cast only awarded 3 points to one side and 4 to the other...is this a bug/glitch?
It would be convenient if a debate clearly displayed which side is Pro or Con in a debate...often, I have to read through a bunch of text just to figure out who's on what side.
Yes of course. The instigator would have the option of choosing between that system and the 7-point one when they set up the debate. I know a lot of people who prefer select winner, so it would be great to have that -- a lot of us don't care about having points cast for conduct or spelling or whatnot.But it would be optional and decided by the creator of the debate, right?

This was made but no notification was given to my designated opponent at all. There is a complete lack of notification of the recipient of a challenge.
1) Bumped the debate vote reason size from 3k to 5k chars.2) Forum posts activities now should take you right to the posts when clicked on the topics (only the new ones)3) Relaxed copy pasting into the editor, now it should be easier to do. It also comes with some drawbacks so we'll see if that's a good idea.
Yay! So much more convenient with the mention notices, and now when I copy and paste something it doesn't delete the spaces between paragraphs so I end up with a big old block of text.

But does it save what we type as we type it? That's the caching that was referred to here, not the freezing of profile pics as they get changed etc

Yes, that's weird to ask right?Also the opposite obviously. :) Your settings making it an ultimatum and I reserve email notifications for stuff i want a 'ping' to happen on my smartphone.
But that turns off the bell notification in-site too.
