re-read DP1#862 to #979. Warren & I confronted Pie, became convinced Pie was scum, voted first & second on Pie and didn't waver for a whole day. That would be some mighty deep scum shit and for what? To kill mafia role cop DP1? That's your working theory?

He was putting Bullish near the bottom of his town-to-scum list at the end of DP1, so there has to be something more than that. However, he did ultimately vote for Pie. I don't know if this helps or not. I was just checking to see if he was being consistent with his read on Bullish last DP.

re-read DP1#862 to #979. Warren & I confronted Pie, became convinced Pie was scum, voted first & second on Pie and didn't waver for a whole day.
Less than 300 posts does not make "a whole day" when the DP lasted for almost 50 pages.
I think I remember a post by drafter noting the sudden shift to pie and saying it looked like a bus. I noticed the same thing and thought it looked like scum trying to divert a lynch off of a teammate but obviously now that pie has flipped we know the bus theory is more plausible.

Ack, I've done it again. I keep ruining it when other people are looking for behavior to analyze. I need to learn to be more patient. Anyway, I'll look back at DP1 tomorrow to see if I can find anything. I'll have to take a closer look at Ragnar.

It is a mistake I have made myself many times back when I was a noob and got bitched at for a lot (rightfully so I now see in hindsight). General rule of thumb, don't answer questions that are directed at a specific player. Only answer non-directed questions and questions directed at you.

Since this has already come up a few times would a hypothetical bodyguard targeting supa last night have saved supa if supas death was hypothetically caused by singularity dying in the night as opposed to supa being hypothetically shot?

No but waiting a whole day makes it a whole day, not DP. I VTL'd Pie Thursday Morning 11am ET. DP ended Friday evening. Look at the timestamps

The trouble with Ragnar is that he's never been town, so there's nothing to compare his behavior to. He could behave in any way he pleased, and it would still be impossible to tell if it was his town play because we've never seen his town play.
This game is so imba.
Imagine if Pie was town. We'd be sitting at 4-3-1 right now, TP decides the game.

If one has doubts about how a role works but wants to use the mechanics of said role as a part of their justification for a read on a player then they should ask the mod how they work the role before proceeding, the way I just did. I think Ragnar knows this. Current theory is scum strategized and decided to try a mislynch bullish today based on DD tunneling bullish all last DP and Ragnar is just borrowing words from other people to use in going with that plot.
