So, it's a New Year. People like to make resolutions. I'm going to make a resolution and I invite everyone else to join me.This is a game that can get heated. Then you're suggesting he is actively game throwing which is a rather severe allegation to make.
There is no precedent for that, and his scum team would be throwing a fit and he'd risk getting mod killed and banned from future games.
I would certainly black list him if it turns out he was game throwing simply because he didn't like playing as scum. I think FourTrouble used to try and pull that BS back in the day until he was called out on it.
You're assuming static behavior based only on affiliation. Behavior is dynamic dependent on affiliation AND role.
Grey's behavior makes perfect sense given his claim.

This sounds like a concession that his behavior matches his role irrespective of his affiliation. So his behavior, in this case, should be a null read to you.

I am the black panther, a 1x day role cop! I just used my role on greyparrot and found out he is a yakuza!
I have been deliberating on who I wanted to use it on all day, and was initially debating on drafterman, but was leaning on DD since they would be harder for me to figure out later on, also I really wanted DD to be town, since according to statistics he has of late had the best scum read accuracy.
However, with all the doubt on greyparrot and votes on him (I actually town read GP as well because his claim seems stupid for mafia to make) I wanted to make sure of his claim so we can town confirm since mafia likely won't kill him if he's town and will die anyway, and we can not waste a mislynch on him if he is actually suicidal.
Turns out I was wrong. He's scum. Also Yakuza is a brilliant role for him to have claimed, since if he survives today, he can use his role tonight and recruit virtually anyone and force reset everyones reads.

I think it's only logical for town to lynch me now since the only person in the civil war film that can save me just claimed (black panther)

The results are just too much to be fake.
Given the rarity of day-based roles my instincts say bus, with the 1x claim as a ready excuse for why mafia don't shank him, but that is likey just the paranoia talking. His reasoning for choosing GP as a target (That GP was acting town but under attack and he wanted to clear him) is solid. Sounds like something I would do. Will have to see greys flip.
If it's a bus then that still means GP is scum anyway. I don't see how there is any other reasonable option than to lynch Grey and go from there. Doesn't change my other thoughts. Still think there is scum on the wagon and we can deal with that tomorrow.
Also before anyone tries to paint this as a vindication of balance analysis please ask yourself whether you think a town lover pair and a mafia recruiter is balanced in a 3-9-1 game. No? You don't think that is balanced? I didn't think you would. A mafia recruiter helps scum WAY more than a suicidal townie hurts town.
