I disagree. He is scum in my calculations, and we might as well get rid of him now, as it loses us 2 votes when he is targeted. It loses us his vote, and it creates an extra vote against our wishes. We can have an advantage over scum by depriving them of information they can use the next NP, by just lynching immediately.

If we lynch him immediately, this DP will have yielded almost no useful information. At the very least, we should wait until everyone is active. I do support an oro lynch later this DP.

Information beyond catching scum for a DP, hurts town is what I am saying. Depriving the informed minority of having information that is not conducive to immediately catching scum is a good ideal. ANy information you get from pressuring pink this DP, could also be gotten from him the next DP from the exact same methods.

He claimed that if he was targetted, he would turn scum. That is enough to do warrant a lynch fmpov and the mafia will already target him after claiming. Plus I don't like this claim either. Seems like a way to lure votes and stir controversy

Actually, I just realized something. By drafter's rules, the DP won't end until everyone votes, so inactives will either get active or be modkilled.

Your reason was to elicit more information, but I explained that doing so would hurt town and if that was really your intention the same information can be elicited dp2. Your good reasons no longer stands. If he doesn't participate dp2, we can lynch him, assuming nobody else confesses to being scum.

What do you have against gaining more information? There’s a reason why it’s a bad idea to end a DP early because we lose valuable time to gain information and hunt for scum.
