I hear ya, it's such a shame it was lost to that unending spam nightmare.

The site creator goes by the username DebateArt.com here. On DDO his username is justmichael. I'm not sure if he was ever very active there. And as far as I know, no mods have been appointed yet. DebateArt.com (we really need to come up with a shorter catchy nickname for this) appears to be the only authority.

DArC is the beautiful nickname.

DDC is the lazy name.

Dart is going to be so confusing as it's a norm English word so newcomers work cafch on.

I'd say there's three viable picks:

Dee-back or Dee Bay see

I believe they modeled him using the skulls of first century Jews as their guideline. And they based the skin color on some of the earliest images of Jewish people. It's difficult to tell if he's thin or not just from the headshot, he could just be wide-faced.

But yeah, I really have no idea why they gave him that expression, lol. He looks like your friend who was recently brainwashed into a cult, and you break into the cult compound to rescue him, but when you finally find him he turns around and smiles all creepy trance-like, with brainwashed eyes. "Why would I ever want to leave the Master? Praise the Master. Join the Master and be happy with us, friend."

Oh very well. Hmm. I probably prefer DDC then. I like lazy. Kind of a shame it doesn't work the "art" into it somehow, though.

DArC, pronounced Darcy, seems like kind of a weird name for a website to me, but I could get used to it. But where's the D for "dot" as in "dot com"?

what are the character limits in the debates?

This one is a bit tricky because formatting also takes characters and the ratio of actual text and formatting is always random but depending on the amount of formatting, arguments can be up to like 30-50k characters. Hopefully that should be good enough :)

As for nominating airmax, who has even seen him or talked to him recently? I'd be happy to hear from him but he's been a no-show for a while.

Airmax doesn't often talk publicly, but that doesn't mean he isn't working on moderating the site. 

Sure. He could be the one who got Juggle to clean up all that spam. I just thought we might want to hold off nominating him until someone hears from him.

If Airmax wants to come over to DA, then I think he should take some time off to be a "normal" member for awhile, and see if he wants to mod after a few months, creator willing.

Maybe you should just have an account with a regular username (or change your existing one, if there's a way to do that).

I'll probably do it once we have some designation signs for the admins and moderations and whatnot. I created this username with the single purpose of it being explicit so that people would know who to PM if they have any questions or suggestions.
