(i dont think anyone has a resurrection spell so the insta kill with that isnt an option.

Alternatively, Merlin, if you continue presenting yourself as the one to target, once it starts to attempt to literally scare you to death, I  can cast heroism on you, negating it cauce heroism prevents the target from becoming terrified 🤔. Once it fails on that attempt, it flees back to the ethereal plane if I remember correctly. But to be sure,

@Drafter- would heroism cause an attempt by the apparition to kill someone to fail?(I cannot remember what the actual attack is called, my b 🙇)

(it being an apparition means there was never any "talking down" to be done. apparitions are spirits who have gone mad and turned evil.   

Here, I looked it up so everyone can know what we're dealing with as opposed to just taking my word for it. Also, just to note, i have 15 charisma and im skilled in persuasion and deception, if there is talking to be done, i have aces up my sleeve figuratively speaking. We're both well suited for being speaky bois and getting the other bois to crack open a cold one with us 🙃)

(Which reminds me. Have you ever watched the second part of Jojo? Does DnD have anything like Hamon🤔🤔?)

(if it's daytime and the sun is out leading it into the sunlight, or finding a way to get the light to it, is def a good idea to getting rid of the apparition. Not sure about it being willing to follow us into said sunlight though 🤔. Still worth a try tho)
