(finding the girl will give us a much needed ally, he's a leader so perhaps has access to our material needs as well, though I'm not too confident we can handle the hags all at once, head on, maybe we can stake out the joint and jump one when she's alone)(if we capture one we could make a trade)

(are we sure the missing child got taken by the hags? And the drow is pointing us/will accompany us to the amber temple. So either we go to Amber temple or we try to track the missing child. But the two are separate things at this point and don't seem to be connected.)

(given his comparison of the temple to the 3 hags, we are no where close to being ready for the temple)(also the travel there, explore etc, and back, we'd miss the festival)(I'm guessing the hags have the child, thought the trackers might be of some help, if it looks like the direction she went in, chances are probably good they have her)

(And how far away is the temple? We have two days so if it's about a half day travel to three quarters that leaves us with a half day to a day to check out the temple. 

Night Hags would be a welcome respite compared to visiting this place.

(Ur not wrong that the temple might be a bit out of our league tho. But the narrative seems to be pointing us that way... regardless, it might be wise to save the temple for post explorations of the immediate area/festival/getting weapons silvered.)

(So, explore the forest for signs of the missing girl? Or lake(wolves+mad mage)? Temple? Haunted Mansion? Abandoned Town? We have multiple options here. My vote is on search for missing girl, see if anything turns up.)

(temple is a difficult 20 miles one way, many horrible encounters on the way.  Silvered weapons take a week I believe, once you find someone that can fabricate them.  We probably have to acquire them ready made one way or another.)

(it's a fair sized city, should be a smithy where you can use/the smithy can craft us weapons. If you Smith + we order we can prob cut the crafting time to a couple weeks. Cause Grahf needs one weap silvered. You need two. We're looking at 2-3 weeks worth of downtime for that.)

(once Eikka and Snerp arrive with the Hunters, and Roberts fills them in about the missing child, Snerp will, along with the two hired hands, search around the area she last was seen/the forest edge for clues such as footprints, tatters of clothing, dropped possessions, etc. that indicate the missing girl was there/traveling in a particular direction.)

Noon
The Vallaki crew, led by Szoldar and Yevgeni head to the Vistani camp where they meet up with Grahf and Roberts. Kasimir notes that he will stay in the camp until they are ready to head to the Amber Temple.

Kasimir: After hearing about your adventures thus far, I do not feel you are ready. Remember that the entities in this temple are the ones that instilled Strahd with his power.

With that, the crew beings to look around the outskirts of Vallaki searching for any sign of the girl Arrabelle. About an hour into their search, they can hear wolves howling in the distance.

The group makes the decision to head toward the howling. As they do, more and more howls join the group as the sounds also get closer and closer. Soon, a large group of wolves and dire wolves emerge from the woods and surround the group!

COMBAT!

The wolves form a large circle around the party and then close in, tearing and ripping at armor, clothes, and flesh. Whenever a wolf secures hold of one of the characters, it attempts to drag them to the ground.
