I sympathise a lot with Buddism because it appears to be more coherent for our human nature. There are not creatures nor ghosts to be afraid of, and most importantly, it's not hypocrite.
That's cool, although I'm not sure what the last sentence means. For certain (IMO), there exists creatures and spiritual beings outside or transcendent of the physical domain but there is no reason for fear. I've seen spiritual beings as well as what people refer to as ghosts and there was no fear involved. The only thing we need to fear is our actions and the consequences thereof.
I actually study Buddhism as well, I'd like to spend more time on it though.
In Buddhism, you understand that emotions, either positive (like happiness) or negative (like suffering), are inevitable and you cant get rid of them. However, it's possible to reduce these feelings by means of meditation so you can feel less the impact, especially the negative ones, which basically make us suffer.
I agree, another way to say it is to practice not using the mind and chasing thoughts and be more present in the moment where you can simply observe without interference of the mind, thoughts or emotions. It's actually the mind that creates a corrupted perception and bad habits which are reinforced through emotion. Meditation is a great tool, it helps the individual learn the distinction between these aspects of ourselves.

When saying creatures and ghosts I was referring specifically to God, the devil, the angels, and the like.
By the way, have you seen spiritual beings? Are you sure it wan't a sort of hallucination or dream? I usually see "things" but only in dreams and when I dream awake. When I'm totally awake I see nothing.

This type of love is not an emotion.
Dispassion is another way to say "refrain our emotions". Buddhism also teaches dispassion as a way to the enlightment, but this is not by any means take control over our emotions. We cannot control our emotions or how we feel. If someone hurts us, we hate or despise at least this person because it's a natural response.
Disspassion alone will not get you to enlightenment. The disspassion is not an end in itself. Otherwise, I am sure there are drugs that will do that can bring about enlightenment! Of course not.
Yet, dlthe passions get in the way of loving The Truth, and they get in the way of loving others, who were made in the image of God. As this is the case, those who truly worship God in spirit and in truth find that themselves at variance with their passions. To say that God cannot help someone in these sort of things is contradicted by thousands of years of monasticism in the church, and the millions of martyrs and saints who were tortured to death while forgiving their persecuters and being steadfadt in their witness.
I suppose what you are really saying is that for someone to less those who persecute them is a supernatural thing, eh?

There is really more than an arbitrary reason to do these things such as fasting. It isn't about pleasing God through fasting, it is about building things like temperance, resisting temptation, and always keeping God in our thoughts, because man lives not by bread alone but every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. That word is Jesus Christ.
The faith is kind of like a rocket ship. This outward things like the bells, the incense, and all that are kind of like the booster rocket that propels the cockpit into space. After passing a certian point in the atmosphere, the booster rocket breaks off.
The problem with those who don't get orthodoxy, and that even includes Christians, is that they think the whole faith is about the bells and incense. There is a much deeper and a much richer mystical tradition that underlies the whole thing.
And that booster rocket serves a purpose. It is a good thing. We are not going to get rid of it because people who don't understand the point of it make fun of it.

No sir, clear as day I do not hallucinate ever and I barely remember my dreams nor have I ever been on any form of medications to boot. I was wide awake and clearly saw them. I've had a few lucid dreams but no, I'm talking wide awake jack.
Remember though as I was saying before, the soul has several layers that confine its experience to a particular plane of existence and can have experiences through any one of those layers. With an NDE the person is forced to observe it because they temporally leave the physical body but it can be practiced before death to observe the reality beyond the physical sense perceptions. This is where soul travel makes an interesting entry.

You're dodging the question. Are the commandments optional or do they need to be kept? Simple as that. I could do the same question regarding baptsim, for example.

Is it that difficult to say "I was wrong"? You behave like a non-Christian. Be more humble, please. Besides, the passage you are bringing up confirms love is an emotion, a feeling. Period.
If you fall in love with what the bible says and the type of God represented in there, that's fine. But never, ever, tell us that you can love the neighbor because it's bogus. Kant (the philosopher) used to say that "love is a matter of feeling but not of willing... so a duty to love is an absurdity". Likewise, Russel (another philosopher) used to think the same way, among other philosophers. You can't force anyone to love.

Jesus suffered, and there is a tradition that being a Christian involves suffering and being persecuted. It is very biblical, supported by many verses, such as Rom 5:3-4 "We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." and 1 Pet 3:14 "But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”"
