Also, post #78 from Bullish feels genuine to me. As in, I think he clearly does have a particular person in mind, which makes him less likely to be scum imo. Could still be scum, but I feel like he's locking himself in with that statement. I'd rather push Savant for low engagement, only saying Pie could be 3P and not contributing anything else. I expect town Savant to be more engaged early on.

hi, sorry, didn't realize this started today.
I have a lot of theme knowledge (true crime fan + taking forensics in school)
The type of character here is broad enough that I don't think it's easy for scum to figure out role from character, so I'm fine with claiming, I'm Ed Gein.

I haven't seen a lot besides Pie's role. But tbh I don't know what to make. I feel like 2 tp is pretty op and can't happen. I also think it's insane that it would 1 town 1 scum. It has to be both as town/scum. I could see a world where both are scum but I think it would be town flavored cuz if Pie 1 got lynched then Pie 2 would. Which i think makes me feel like Pie is town.

Honestly it would've worked out WAY better if things went better character wise. Full transparency I would 100% try it again.
I generally hate early claiming in general in town unless I have to. Even then I don't think some people consider popular SOP but I still think it should be claimed based on the nature of how it's been used in recent games

I tend to air on the side of caution when it comes to claiming right away in DP1 because I think it gives mafia a lot of information and if the setup is given in a certain way, it could cause mafia to take advantage. However lately I've been noticing that it's been a bit better since scum have open access to chatgpt to find claims that will fit. So I am honestly leaning toward that philosophy but who knows
Aight I don't think I have any strong reads at the moment. I want to hear Savant for activity purposes but right now my reads are virtually zero besides Pie but I do have some concerns with That2. A bit more agressive from what I have seen from them last game

Besides the rape thing, Ed Geins is not a serial killer he confessed to 1 murder and was convicted of another. I don't know that two murders qualifies you as a SK. He is mostly notorious for digging up dead bodies and turning them into lamp shades and other home decor

I’m also not getting this push for mass character claims. I wouldn’t say my role is obvious from my character, but it could be figured out and I’m not prone to just giving out who I am. Someone better give me a good reason if they want my claim at this point beyond just “scum don’t have access to fake claims” because the field is broad and scum have plenty of options, not to mention each claim makes it easier for them to avoid CC.
