Ya, this is technically true, although I think the way I handled the claim was pretty towny and as scum I would be leveraging it a lot more than I have lol.

The main reason I should be town here is just my treatment of Vader and banana imo. Zero world in which I'm scum where I ever call them both town and try to defuse the conflict, I literally noted that both of them were behaving towny (Vader moreso) and had a POE of Joebob and some others (I think Luna, Barney, and GP), if the latter POE is at least 2/3 then that means I was just correctly hitting scum on a day where I had no reason not to just sit back and encourage town vs town violence. Like if I had been listened to, either by the voters or banana, then town would not be in MYLO/LYLO on day 3.

I just realized that there is no reason why Barney would be roleblocked if he was scum. If we take Barney, GP, and Savant all out, we’re left exactly with Luna, WF, Austin
I forgot about that actually - I think Mharman's result DP2 is a good look for him, I don't have the post in front of me right now but it seemed to imply a roleblock. The problem with that POE is kinda obvious tho, I know I'm town so someone's being miscleared (or there's a 3P? Still feel it's possible, especially now that we know Owen wasn't a true 3P). I think it's very possible for Luna and WF to be scum, I'd prefer waiting a day because it'd be embarrassing to lynch Luna if he's town about to confirm, but I'm willing to let the people I townread make the call today.

First note is that no NK, only role that would explain that (other than maybe some crab god shenanigans, which I find unlikely - assuming it's real, scum has it, so idk why it would block their own NK) is either Luna being apportioner, or scum waiving an NK to try and confirm Luna.

Idk, seems risky to forfeit an entire NK to try and confirm one member, but the POE is tight and I could see a play like that happening. 

The mechanically correct play here is to look for a scum lynch today - even if Luna is scum, that still makes two - and then see if Pie dies tonight, along with another townie.

If Pie dies and another NK dies, then Luna is mechanically confirmed.

If only Pie dies, then there are two options. Either Luna is scum and we lynch him, or he's being town framed by scum forfeiting a kill. Regardless, even in the latter possibility, that basically forces scum to lose an NK and have to deal with a tighter POE.
It would probably bring the game from LYLO to MYLO assuming only I die because it would be 4-2 tomorrow, which wouldn’t mean much cause we’d be at square one again. I think scum are forced to choose between me and Mharman tonight assuming we lynch correctly. Mharman has the ability, but I’m the closest to town confirmed cause I can talk with Casey who flipped town and give you her insights as well as my own. I would personally advocate for Luna to save me again assuming he is town so that I keep living cause maybe there’s a 1% chance I’m scum, but for Mhar it’s like 2%. If there is no NK tonight, then we gain a free lynch tomorrow at 5-2

I think this should work? Generally I'm decent with mechanics and we had a similar plan with me being the roleblocker last game, and this feels similar in terms of it only being able to go right.
I agree with your plan, but for the game to continue, we have to select scum today.

Yeah I was going into today thinking it was just Barney/WF/Luna which kinda makes sense as a scum team mostly ignoring each other with some light distancing, but the Barney/Luna result gives me some pause, I can think of ways to explain it but I'm just weighing whether it's more likely that the result was messed with or unclear, or that I'm misclearing someone in my towncore, or that there's a 3P (but in that case, idk why my role would have activated DP3, since with only 3 scum in 9 people it still shouldn't be MYLO/LYLO, unless the 3P somehow wins with scum? e.g. a survivor role or smth).

The most important thing here is for people to be collectively found as town - if we just deny scum mislynches this way, then they're going to be boxed in and have to cannibalize themselves. I think I've done my part here with my solving and my past actions - I've been kind of slacking this game due to irl, but I think that I can and should be found as town here especially with how I acted DP2 which is just far out of my scum meta.

What are your behavioral reads for each of them
I think Luna so far has felt the most in his scum meta - he's been relatively passive and I disliked the way he played around Banana/Vader, felt exactly like a scum trying to egg on town-vs-town violence and trying to deflect blame for it onto banana afterward. My only hesitance mechanically speaking is the claim and last night's result, but purely off behavior, he feels the worst.

Barney has left almost no impression on me all game other than fighting with GP, I don't think I've played with him much and can't confidently read him, but I would say I don't have a strong reason to be towning him. I did think that scum wouldn't so overtly pick a fight, although that's to a degree WIFOM. Again, there's some mitigation with mechanics if he was truly RBed, idk.
 
WF has felt behaviorally the most towny just by his effort and by being more active than his scum games which I remember as being very passive, so just off that he's the best of the three. This is with the caveat that I have townread him when he's scum and I know he's a good player, but it's just my gut instinct off behavior alone, outside of meta. Mechanically speaking, he has nothing going for him iirc?

I'm pretty sure he's just a townie reaction testing, would explain why he's refusing to give his results and why he keeps talking to me rather than asking others to just lynch me if he's so confident I'm scum. I guess the idea is that if I was scum I would crack under the pressure and try to 1v1 him or confess to something just to get him to take away the guilty, though given I'm town, neither of those really makes sense.

The only thing that pings me is that this is kind of out of character for Mharman, I remember during Ace Attorney Mafia he got really annoyed at me for faking a Day Dreamer role and said that fancy plays like that are anti-town. Idk, still think he's town, but he needs to retract soon.
