I am not choosing both, I am literally choosing to not believe austin is a retard.
There is something I'd like to understand and maybe people can inform me on why they feel this is unnecessary:
Why aren't we seeking more claims at this point?
So far, the only person I've seen inquire about another claim (and it was less inquiring and more assuming that they had a role that gave info and asking for it) is Casey, and despite the sus that Luna has been throwing at WyIted, I haven't seen an attempt to get a claim out of him. Maybe he just doesn't care about the claim because it doesn't affect his view of WyIted, but I don't know why we'd limit our info this DP other than the hope that the NP could yield more beneficial night actions if we mislynch. I get that a lot of the reads have been behavioral and people might just not want to distract from them by throwing mechanics into it, I'm just having a hard time understanding why we're limiting ourselves if we have a limited POE that is commonly shared and contains people who haven't claimed.
I'm still going through the DPs, but this stuck out to me.

Actually, that's a good point. Looking back at DP1, you were one of the first to get on board with the GP lynch. Not sure how I overlooked that. That leaves just Austin for me. Maybe Whiteflame as well, actually. Not that he's done anything scummy, but he gives me the least reason to townread him.

Yup, that checks out. I figured there had to be a Commuter after GP's flip. The only other option would be Mharman being a bastard mod. I'd say that town confirms you. Savant is also basically confirmed imo. Wylted and Luna both pushed against GP early in DP1. I suppose Vader could be scum and doing a gambit with the Gravedigger claim, but that's pretty risky and harder for me to believe than Austin being scum.

As far as claims go, I do want wylteds claim, he hasn’t had enough pressure until this point for him to feel any incentive to give anything though, so I didnt think I’d needed to spell out that we should be getting his claim, thought that was implicit in my vote “I suspect you, anything you can claim that you think will alleviate that pressure might help my viewpoint”.
Though honestly with your claim just how that really limits my POE to just him behaviorally, or I am very wrong about one of my other town reads. Which I am open to. If I’m wrong about wylteds being scum my second guess for scum would HAVE to be supa for being willfully ignorant of the math of Austin’s logic. Like even you admitted that the logic was solid and makes sense, supa is just flat out stubbornly refusing to even acknowledge Austin’s logic or a world where lynching Austin first makes sense even if it’s guaranteed he’s lynched next. You can tell by his responses he won’t actually acknowledge the point which is specifically frustrating, and more frustrating when you are operating as I have under the assumption that he is town.
Starting to think it takes conscious effort to be that willfully ignorant and maybe if it quacks like a duck… it’s a duck.
But yeah wylteds claim will help me determine whether or not he’s still the prime candidate here in my eyes.

If he flips town we lynch you and win but your stubbornness is giving me town vibes so I am pretty sure it won't come to that and TBH the game stops being fun once it's solved and I want to move onto the next game. We could delay starting the next Mafia game for another 2 weeks or we could just lynch Austin and start it in another 3 or 4 days.
You knows he is going to mock you really hard in the end game for buying the doctor claim after pie claimed doctor. We can call it jailkeeper if we want to be nuanced but it is absolutely a doctor and we know that. He was stupid enough to CC a dead players.
