The first images of the first phase of Israeli hostages being released.

These people suffered horrendous treatment and it's about a total of 33 hostages in the first phase compared to the release of almost 2000 terrorists, so it's also a type of tacit admission on the Hamas side that the life of one Israeli is equivalent to about 75 of their terrorists.

Hopefully these people found God while in prison and will lead good lives but I get the feeling they'll continue down their dark path

Not sure what was the point of taking hostages if they will just release them.

Plus, they lost way more men than they saved.

They were stupid enough to believe the hostages would scare Israel out of taking action. They also were doing a propaganda campaign on zoomers and literally bitching about genocide prior to Israel even taking any sort of retaliatory action. 

Their best hope was dragging Iran and many other countries into war, but that failed. Then they tried turning countries against Israel, which failed too. All in all, Hamas achieved nothing big, but lost a lot. So I really dont see what was the point of taking those hostages and then releasing them. I understand that Hamas is much weaker than Israel, but this action of taking hostages caused more damage to Hamas than to Israel.

It's Islam. It's literally a suicide cult. If they do damage to non Muslims they go to heaven in their worldview.
