Maybe the instructions were in Chinese. Maybe they bought it to mainly to play games.
They dont even play games. They just read nonsense news all day and believe almost everything without question. Their ability to think doesnt even exist. Its just emotionally driven mind combined with memory. Its why I doubt that they are really my parents. My ancestors were all stupid too, so I dont really know how is it possible that I am the product of them. The only thing I can explain it with is the great amount of disorders that I have which may have helped me develop intelligence by forcing me to think and figure out how to manage in difficult situations I was constantly in.

Maybe it will be after all the intelligence training. I only took one IQ test so far on some app, and the time limit did screw me, but I guess time limit screws everyone equally.

Maybe they deliberately did it to help you develop intelligence by forcing you to think and figure out how to manage in difficult situations they put you in constantly. Their perseverance it appears  paid off.

Maybe they deliberately did it
Well, they did try to deliberately cause me some disorders. Like, feeding me with junk food because they cant cook anything, constantly smoking in same room with me. Then refusing to send me to kindergarten when I was a kid because kindergarten costs too much and its cheaper to pay some old people to babysit me. I have to say, they did try their best to fuck up all my social skills.

Yes. Talking to people online is the only possible conversation source for me due to my speech disorder which makes me unable to talk much in real life

Not wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle,

People might say that you're practically asking for brain damage.

But of course they do not mean that literally, just a turn of phrase, on the risk one is running.
. . .

Society is also odd,
Nature does not choose,
But humans do,
People sometimes have high expectations of other humans,
Though expecting other humans not to rape you, I prefer as a low expectation, but depends on the people one meets, the society one lives in.

Lot of people are going to leer, openly or allusively,
Some people, men 'and women, 'want the attention, expect it,
Others don't, and have the expectation that others should not/will not leer at them.

What results depends on the society one lives in,
I'd 'imagine a topless woman on a beach get's leered at less in one of those topless countries,
Than a topless woman in a country that normalizes tops for women.
. . .

I don't think women who dress proactively are asking to be raped,
Some of them might want attention,
Some of them might want indirect but not direct attention,
Some might just want to be attractive to themselves, without thought of others.

Society 'is a factor though, like storm clouds, chance of rain.

For rapists, I'd imagine the opportunity of a person 'vulnerable, alone for instance,
Plays a greater factor than their clothes.

. . . Still, people are going to often treat you different based on how you present yourself,
Dress proactively in school, might get attention from people who end up a bit rapey on a date.
Who think you 'are an easy person, or 'are looking for sex then can't take no as an answer.

There is no empirical evidence whatsoever that dressing provocatively is in any way causal for rape. It's true that rapists have asserted this in order to blame the victim, but it has no basis in fact.

The motivation for rape is not sex, it is violence.

Singer is talking about altruism. That pond thought experiment make you responsible for someone else assaulting you.

Everyone of breeding age wants it.

Flaunting oneself is basically saying, I am fecund.

Though of course, as an intellectually evolved species we tend to dress such behaviour up with other ideas.

Well, I dont know if clothes play any factor really.

Quran says that clothes prevent rape, but thats obviously a blatant lie.

I dont see how would rapist be stopped by clothes.

Maybe if women dress slutty all the time, then a country has increased number of people who become rapists.

Like, women who walk around dressed slutty are probably going to be seen by teenage boys who might develop wrong ideas about women then.

You are responsible for having good opsec. The person legally responsible is the rapist but you also have a responsibility to keep yourself safe.

I wouldn't say it's your fault only that you have a responsibility there.

Why? Not doing so isn't harming anyone else. And if you wanted to consent, you'd have a right to do that.

I don't think it's unethical to abdicate that responsibility, unless you are perhaps a mother or father and have dependants . I guess it's a type of quality where I am not sure which side is right or if both sides can be resolved so they are taken into account.

If we look at duty based ethics than you have a duty to yourself to a certain extent which means you should take safety measures.

The ethical egoist would also agree you have a duty to protect yourself.

I guess I might differentiate between the duty based ethics and ethics as to how they relate to society.

So you have an ethical obligation to yourself in the micro which are okay to abdicate. Your responsibility to society such as your responsibility not to be a rapist it would be unethical to abdicate.

The motivation for rape is not sex, it is violence.
I agree with Sidewalker on this point.  Rape is not about the victim, but rather about the perpetrator.

Therefore, a provocative dressing woman is NOT asking for rape, even though she is asking for sexual attention. There is a certain responsibly on the woman to "flaunt" to the correct person just as it is her responsibility to marry someone of good character.  But if her husband turns out to be a pedophile, is the charge laid at her feet?  She married him, right?  She should take part in his punishment.  She enabled him by bearing children for him to assault.

So if she struts in front of known rapist, then I would say she too stupid and deserved it, but he still goes to jail.  If she struts in front of typical man, she is looking for sex/attention and not to be raped and if she is, then the man is not aware of the clues given.

They are sending the rapist the wrong signals with their provocative dressing.

Not the signal "I want to have sex with you" unless they say that explicitly.
