It’s called for Trump. They’re expecting Trump’s numbers to go back up.

Ok, a little more progress on those swing state comebacks.

Keep it up Trump.

Oh, of course, I don't expect Harris to actually win Kansas. I do think it's funny, though, and numbers in the Midwest are good for Dems rn. We're looking at a rightward tilt in the South and a shift back to the left in the Midwest.

Even before the cheating became known to me it always annoyed me when they did things like that.

I mean it's 2 freaking hours, isn't there a bit of dignity in just waiting? They've been "expecting" for months and months.

it probably has something to do with the orders in which different counties are added to the count

I wouldn’t be so certain about the Midwest.

But I will admit too many midwesterners trust the media… union workers and middle class white women who can’t stand Trump also play a factor. Too easily mislead

Harris still probably has New Hampshire. I think we made gains in the state this cycle though.

Argh. Harris took a narrow lead in Virginia. Still good chances for a flip, but Democrats are breathing a small sigh of relief after that…

At least in that state.

Tim Kaine still exists. He held his seat over the Republican challenger.

Yeah, it looks like the Virginia flip is gonna be stopped. RIP. It was projected for Harris coming into this thing anyway.

Still holding Wisconsin and Pennsylvania by small amounts. Michigan is tied.

His North Carolina lead has shrunk a small bit but he’s still holding.

He’s still in it in Virginia. The effort will probably die at the end but it’s commendable.

Arizona tied. No upset in Iowa, and some outlets have said no upset in Virginia.

Republicans are one seat away from flipping the Senate. They’ve flipped 2 seats already. They can either hold the last seat they can hold, or they can flip a third seat.

Interestingly, 270 forecasts that the Democrats will flip the House unfortunately.

Which is kinda weird that we swap sides of congress if that comes to pass.

270’s forecast on the House might be outdated. Republicans lead in flips there, 3-1.

Trump takes North Carolina!

Harris will take New Mexico and Virginia. All three have been declared.

Well, FOX News is holding out on calling Virginia, but it’s just not happening. In general, Fox seems slower to call states, even in ones Trump won.

North Carolina took them forever.

EDIT: Fox has called Virginia for Harris.

So here is an open question:

We all knew which states were swing states beforehand. More or less we knew it was:

GA, PA, MI, WI, AZ, MN (kinda)

Why is it that these states are EXACTLY the ones which have the lowest reporting rates. That is they are not only uncalled, but they are less defined than surrounding states.

For example PA as I am looking at it is 87% reporting. The surrounding states are:
NY 94%
OH 96%
WV 93%
MD 78%
NJ 90%
DE 90%

At the same time MI is at 57% WI is 83% MN is 63%. With the exception of SD there isn't a single neighboring state that is below 88%.

Why would swing states count votes slower? Surely counting speed at worst is proportional to population.

248. Alaska will get Trump to 251.

Any combination of two of the other remaining states (excluding Nevada) will win Trump the White House.
