I don’t really scumread Owen for this. It’s been pretty on-brand for him in his past few games. It might come to it that we just have to lynch on his inactivity, but I don’t really want it to come to that.
How’d you get from everyone wanting Owen to claim their 5 year period and genre to “they scumread Owen but I don’t”
Interestingly the Wizard of Oz doesn't seem to be in this game.
I’m fine getting a full claim from Banana and/or Bullish for not doing a 5 year period and not giving a reason

Anyway, Unvote.
Now that we have claims and a bit of discussion surrounding it, we can actually get into the meat of the game. At the moment, I'm cautiously townreading Pie for instigating and going through with the role claims, and I also have a slight TR on Earth for the quick claim to clear up the confusion. (I don't believe the character is fake, although it could be Mafia-aligned, I suppose).
I think I want to poke at... VTL Austin for a moment. Talking about the claims generating discussion early but not actually participating in any such discussion.

I'm not opposed to full claiming because my role is confirmable.
I am 12 Angry Men. I am governor, I can nullify a lynch (of someone who is not me) and skip the nightphase. This is because in the film, the jury returns not guilty based on the doubt of only 1 juror.

Yes, that's what I thought. The justification there is at least pretty believable.
Skipping the Night entirely is an interesting component of that ability- I've seen a "Veto the lynch" role before, but never combined with that. Doesn't really progress the game much beyond confirming your role.
There is actually one amusing use of that I can imagine, depending on if you're allowed to queue actions, but it requires hiding the role until LyLo, so... not viable here.
Mmm. I think Bullish is Town. I think the skip a night phase is kinda odd, since it basically redoes the day. I don't think it's a mafia role, but Bullish could be lying about his role.

Great movie. I don't doubt the claim and it's obviously very confirmable, but the justification seems wonky imo lol. You would think something with lynch prevention would make more sense with this but I guess I can see it.
