Although I think there are better options than the wall, whatever design is maybe. A physical barrier is useful and important. As the news has shown, what is there in many places is a joke or totally broken. People can support the idea of Trump's wall/border security or wait for a new administration to do nothing as they always have. No Democrat has offered any real and honest negotiations or ideas on border security, no real plan, because they don't want it.
The clips of Obama and the dumazz Schumer show they want security etc but did what exactly to make that happen? What plans did they put forth? People as sick of the same b.s. of all talk and no action. This is one of many reasons we have Trump. For good or bad he's doing or trying to do what he said he would. What other president has actually done that to the extent he has? So we are left with this wall idea. Some of it has been built and he's talking about other ways to get it done. Fmpov it's either this or nothing. What other options are there for border security? Wait and see if a new president will do something? How's that worked out before Trump?
This is the previous administrations fault, though many can't see it. If they had dealt with border security and immigration when they had the chance to, pushed it like he does, we wouldn't be talking about this. When you pass the buck this is what happens and what you get, enjoy.

To be fair, if you do a lot of digging, because the Marxist press sure as hell did not cover it...Obama vamped up border security a LOT in an attempt to defuse the issue before the presidential election. Unfortunately, he discovered that it's a complicated problem that can't be solved with simply "more enforcement" and more deportations.
A big double thick wall won't resolve anything. Landmines in the border can.
Well, looks like Trump gave up on getting Congress to fund the wall. But he's reportedly found up to 7 billion in federal money that could be allocated towards such, and with the Republicans controlling the Senate it doesn't look like the Dems could stop him.

Werent "landmines" outlawed some years ago and some or many countries? Ive seen various news/documentaries of the children loosing life and/or limb many years after a war in Vietnam, Iraq{ Turtles Can Fly" } etc.
Saw documentary recently on German uboat that sunk off coast of Itally after it hit one of its own mines. Apprarrently the miltary was so secretive about location of the mine fields in those Italian bays that they did not even give maps to the Uboat Captains.

This opens a whole new set of problems for people who want to cross a border. Ladders and dynamite alone is not enough to get through a field of landmines. I doubt they can afford mine sweeping technology. Maybe drug cartels could.
Then were back to the issues with having these immoral drug laws that only create more problems of violence and costs than it solves.

the walls that are currently there stop up to ninety percent of people crossing in some areas. people just go where there is no wall. it stands to reason if you had that sort of wall the whole border, it would stop some people as it currently does. people say if you build a thirty food tall wall, they will just make a thirty one foot ladder. but it's far fetched to think there will be hundreds of thousands of ladders to aid the current hundreds of thousand that currently cross per year. migrants from south america would probably just stop coming a lot, instead of assimilating with mexico enough to get ladders. parents won't bring there kids over. some people just won't try cause it's hard. if you make it too easy, people will just run right through. it's far fetched to think one hundred percent of people who want to cross will still find a way

Even if it stops a mere 5% of the total amount of illegal invaders, it's still far worth a one time payment of 5 billion to make a dent in the 100 billions lost annually. Not even counting the benefits of not having to deal with marxist invaders which you can't put a dollar value on.
Wall seems better than the almost nothing that has been done the last 20+ years. If you don't fix the problem yourself and leave it for someone else to fix who is really to blame? And what right do you have to complain.
