How can the courts or Secret Service determine if a threat is credible without first investigating it?
Investigation has nothing to do with being prosecuted for a crime. I am sure they look into a lot of threats to see what is criminal or not. However some threats are so obviously not credible as to not be worthy of investigation. For example the "whitest kids you know" skit that gave a detailed plan on how to kill George Bush never got them in any legal troubl
Here is a video of whites kid you know on bush. Where it is illegal to say I want to kill the president.

The most educated people when it comes to politics have the most myopic closed minds in the world. At least that's what I see on this site.

“It takes one to know one” is a common idiom used to describe how one person relates to another. It takes one type of person to recognize that same type of person somewhere else.

I just hope you are not calling me educated. I dropped out of school at 16 to gain emancipation and custody of my siblings.

I am now in college and half way through a cyber security degree, but literally every class is tech focused to try and avoid being brainwashed.

Well almost every class.

We are talking about cyber actors who are humans and Russians.

What percentage of cyber attacks are caused by Russia?
Russia is the major source of phishing attacks around the globe. In 2023, it accounted for over 30 percent of total unsolicited spam e-mails.
