So I’m gonna try to listen to others more and keep things a bit simpler (Occams Razor and all). My gut tells me something’s off, I’m not gonna try to look for something that satisfies it, I’m gonna listen to my mind more.

Another thing worth mentioning is that, with all the discussion yesterday, we never really decided that Whiteflame’s character/justification for being a cop made sense. We all just didn’t like the prospect of lynching a claimed cop. At best, we decided that the justification wasn’t 100% obvious bullshit… but we were all still skeptical about it, at least that’s how I felt. I don’t think anyone here would disagree with me on this.

The math we do at a subconscious level is far more powerful that Calculus. Just look at the math required to catch a ball

I get what you’re saying, but the problem with listening to my gut too much last DP was that I had a heavy confirmation bias for what ever would satisfy my gut read, and it totally wrecked my thought process

I get how this works and why you would want a lynch to use it, but that actually makes it harder for me to understand why it's more beneficial to use it for a lynch this DP than it would be to use it for a lynch next DP.
I agree. It doesn't change the fact that lynching me ends the game, so I don't see how it really affects the analysis here.

Likewise. The problem of course is figuring out which are fake.

I'm most skeptical of Whiteflame (how was Pie a better target than the cop?!), but I know it won't go anywhere today.

I'm least skeptical of myself, for obvious reasons.

If passed to the right person (not me), then the NK is prevented. It's rather similar to Doctor, but self only.

We don't always have the best of luck outthinking scum, but sometimes we get it right.

I still think this is a greater risk than we have to take at this stage, but the points against Casey are obvious and I'm seeing a lot of distinct reasons being suggested for why they're scum. If anyone is scum, it's Casey, so I guess we're going to take this risk at some point regardless.
