Yes it is the issue. We're not having heated discussions over necessary medical treatments such as organ transplants or chemotherapy.

So it's controversial for a reason. People don't agree and agree, looking at it as killing off the next generation and looking at it as not valuable because.... whatever reason people want to use.

I was questioning at an extra-human level, who is to say which surgical procedures are necessary and which are not.

Perhaps you think that there is an extra-human authority, that has the right to judge an individuals decisions.

It's not something that I am aware of though.

Yes and no, depends on how you define it.

I believe that a person that got pregnant through rape (might be a woman, might be a girl) should get $300K in restitution if they can prove they got pregnant from rape.  If they abort, then they lose $20K.

This technically could be argued to be banning abortion for rape victims with a $20K penalty for it, but I don't really think it harms rape victims by not letting them get abortions.

No, but rape victims should get $300K in restitution if they don't abort and $280K if they do abort.  Consensual sex pregnancies don't deserve that compensation because it's for rape victims only.

I guess that depends on the person as the person sets different values which creates the pro choice position.

To some it doesn't, that creates the pro life position.

Like I said I'm not taking a position here so I suggest you digress.

Both you and underdog are contradicting yourselves by either saying no, or by saying you lack a position when it comes to the value of an unborn life. Underdog specifically and literally brings up money, while you invoke consent.

If you don't want children, don't have sex. Plain and simple.
That is NOT how the psychology and physiology of human relationships work. 
Two consenting adults can engage in relations with the proper protections and worry less about the possibility of a pregnancy.
Aside from vaginal penetration, women can engage in anal penetration if they are that worried about it. Not to mention oral sex.
But you simply cannot demand let alone force human beings not to be engaged sexually with one another merely because of the possibility of a pregnancy.
FFS, even the ancient Egyptians figured this out and created one of the first versions of a condom. 

It's just like playing with matches. If you don't want to get burned, it's nothing to play with.

The problem is, people misuse sex. So we have all this issue.
Please clarify this and how it applies to the title & your premise.

If I am understanding this correctly you are trying to say:

Since the action of sexual intercourse can produce a pregnancy, AND if you do not want a pregnancy to happen, THEN understand the science behind how pregnancy works and prevent the pregnancy altogether?

OR

Don't have sex unless you are trying to get pregnant?
