I guess that's true. I was mostly remembering the pawn thing, since it got mentioned several times, and that makes me a bit reluctant to reveal any kind of information, character or otherwise. But as I said before, if you can get two more people to ask for my character, I'll reveal it, despite several character claims already in day 1.

WIFOM + why would you specifically mention it?
I mention it because it impacts how much we can trust people saying they are Pandava. If by WIFOM you mean I'm either town or scum pretending to be town, then yes. That's true of everyone in the game.

Pushing on inactives is inherently pointless because the only way they would respond to it is if they intended to be active anyway.
It could pressure them to post if they log in and weren't planning to. But sure, there's no guarantee it will help.

I didn't push Moozer, I asked for his opinion. Wanting more engagement from people doesn't mean I automatically think they are scum. Also, I said I think Earth is likely town.

I feel the least confident in JoeBob's innocence. No one else seems likely to be scum.

The previous games had Pie moving things along and a lot of immediate accusations, which give a lot more to work off of. I'm also a lot more reluctant to give character information given that it got me killed the first night in the last two games. I could start pushing random people, but that seemed to help scum in the last two games.
No that is good actually. If no one claims a Karauva that’s an indicator that is what the theme split is and we’re picking everyone early into a soft claim. I don’t actually know enough about the theme to know if the Karauvas are bad guys just that they lose the war because of a tranny lol. Read that in Barney’s character info

Quite the oppose actually. It locks scum into picking characters from one faction only, and if there’s a limited number of characters in that faction, even better chances that when they claim they get counter claimed. The more minor the characters the easier it will be to suspect a person in this case. Also knowing the theme split is pretty good in general for sussing people out when all characters are eventually claimed.

I agree that it's better to know the theme split, but it would have been better to reveal the suspected theme split after someone has claimed a character in the wrong faction. If by day 2, six people had claimed Pandava and one person had claimed Karauva, figuring out the theme split then would help us to identify the odd one out.

I agree with Austin’s logic in the savant wagon and was also a little skeptical of him saying no one would claim a Kandauva. I am still slightly suspicious of Barney role sounding like a negative utility role based on his character. But I can confirm his character is at least a Pandava and he was the first to claim so he gets some points for that.

If we pressure for a claim I think we only get one more max this day phase depending on how sis the claim is from savant then we either decide to lynch him or move on with a VTNL.

For now I’ll help add pressure. Going back to sleep for a couple hours then I’ll be back on.

Much as I'd prefer VTNL to getting lynched myself, I'd rather lynch someone than lynch no one. If I had to go after someone, it would be JoeBob, since none of his posts have moved the game forward. But I'm open to other suggestions that aren't me.

Alright, I’m still trying to read into all these characters. I agree with Luna that there’s some opportunities in having scum claim in a more restricted fashion, though not because of the potential for them to be CC’d. If anything, I’d say that’s less likely this game because scum apparently have opportunities to run fake claims by Pie. I think we stand to gain more info not from individual character claims, but how well they work with their associated roles, especially now that we suspect scum has fashioned theirs and are likely to have stranger role/character matches as a result.

It’s still tough to get any actual info from character claims alone, though. I initially thought there would be more of the major characters from the Mahabharata in this game, particularly the five brothers. They may just not have been claimed yet, and some of these characters do seem like they’re rather important (particularly Dhrishtadyumna), but that alone isn’t providing much information, particularly with Abhimanyu and Ghatoktach on the table, neither of whom seem all that central to the plot.

So when scum you want to thin the herd in ways that don't make them think you're a wolf.

You don't want to be the person saying you think that sheep is lazy so we should kill it... You want to be the person saying the person who said that is lazy, so might be a wolf.

On principle I agree with lynching the idols (pun intended) policy. But before that we want to cycle through other possibilities to see how different people react, that way we might spot a team.
