Phase is sort of moving slower than usual. Not really the case tbh in Pie games cuz pace tends to not be an issue for the most part, makes me believe scum might be one of the people that haven’t post (Ik this puts me in the PoE by default)

No religious aspect in the name of my role... But there are not many of those.
I read the description of your character, whose a women who was scorned by a man who fucks her out of a marriage, so she kills herself, reincarnates as a man in order to enact revenge on this dude. She is apparently succesful according to the wiki. If anyone has a death revenge type of role it would be you... Its a role hell bent on revenge and killing. I was thinking you were something like a hunter when you claimed it, now austin is basically claiming hunter. I wanna say the character sounds scummy but I don't really understand the theme enough and I don't think pie does good/evil theme splits. I guess I am just a bit suspicious of your role though based on how well it fits with a negative type of action, or sounds like it should.

Is your character aligned with the Pandava's, or the Kaurava's or neither? Might be too obvious of a theme split but I don't see the harm in getting this information.

I’ve never seen the Victim before. You say that it redirects “a negative action” onto you from your target. Did you ask Pie what suffices as “negative”? I saw RB on the list, but also a killing action, which apparently doesn’t include the NK. Can you elaborate?

It’s hard not to see this as both a reason why you’re unlikely to be NK’d and as a means to push back on any potential lynches. It’s better that you mentioned it now, though, since it doesn’t come off as an excuse to shake off a wagon, so I see why you did it.

Mine also aligns with Pandava’s. That would make sense given the quote that Pie used at the start of the DP, since the battle in question pitted one against the other.

Yeah, that's why I called it sort of a SOP claim. For what it's worth, if anyone doesn't believe me and I scumread them back, then I would be happy to create a 1v1 where they hammer me (if they really don't believe me, they shouldn't have a problem with doing so).

We’ll cross that bridge if we come to it, though I don’t scumread your claim, even if it does come off as a bit convenient. Wouldn’t be the first time that’s happened to town.

Gut reads so far:

Town:

Vader (claim is a niche role that I would expect to see in a Pie game (useful but not overpowered). Also some vibes regarding him mentioning IRL circumstances. I feel as scum he would have a greater obligation to his partner to not just replace out, based on what I know of him.)

Lean town:

Barney (extremely early char claim, also 21 feels very towny ("some inevitable but undeserved town cred")
Moozer (willingness to claim in line with last time, vibes)

Slight town:

whiteflame (behavior, willingness to question claims a bit and check theme)
Lunatic (vibes)

I’m a bit more hesitant to base my reads on early claims, especially given that scum can ask Pie directly about two characters and two roles of their choosing. There are so many characters to choose from to begin with, and the roles that have been claimed so far are not particularly risky claims for scum to go for, but my gut read for people who claim early is still slight town.

As for Luna, Earth and Savant, I’ll have to read back through what they’ve posted so far, don’t have a read on any of them yet.

The previous games had Pie moving things along and a lot of immediate accusations, which give a lot more to work off of. I'm also a lot more reluctant to give character information given that it got me killed the first night in the last two games. I could start pushing random people, but that seemed to help scum in the last two games.
