equal in dignity, not in equal in everything. men are stronger, and i might think have a higher range of intelligence (more genius and retard men than women etc), and have different instincts and reactions, sexually and in relationships. men are more rational women are more emotional. men and women have different biology.
Well, are you equally attracted to men and women? If no, then that means they are not equal in that sense.
Equal before the law, in rights and in dignity, if this is what you mean.
Males and females are not equal biologically, as each has certain skillsets evolved into their brain chemistry.

just as a practical matter, in any relationship, there will be more of an alpha and a beta with the partners. it's natural for men to be alpha given their physical attributes and emotional etc. of course there should be freedom to not adhere to this structure... but in general, it's not just a religious idea, men should be more dominant and women more submissive. even before religion, i'm sure cavemen were the dominant ones, and cave women more submissive. it's just nature.

I agree that there is nature at play, but I disagree that man can force a woman.
There is a big difference between willing submission and violence.

I guess you may think it's fair to say that society is geared for women to be just as dominant regardless of nature. So we have discussions about equality, men and women sports, making certain job roles more gender neutral.
Job roles such as stewardess to flight attendant, waitress to server, secretary to administrative assistant.
For the longest I didn't know about that last one. I believe the word "actress" has been abandoned and they're all called actors alike.

There are agreements and disagreements.
They both only do that which they agree to, dont do that which they disagree about.
Of course, there are cases where decision has to be made, but they disagree.
Then its solved through discussion and compromise.
