These are teachings of the Bible.

When read this way, you can obviously see that only a pure idiot would willingly follow these teachings.

Christians have a moral duty to support every tyrannical government on Earth, because "each was put there by God".

In fact, any smart government would encourage Christianity, because Christianity literally commands people to obey the government while discouraging any kind of rational thinking.

So yes, now we have discovered the true purpose of Christianity.

I would also like to point out one of the misleading scriptures you probably are referring to:
Romans 13:1 which says," Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God."
This scripture says subject to governing authorities, not slaves to governing authorities. 
This plays a crucial role when discussing bad government.

And it is debateable who asked pharaoh to "let my people go". Was it Moses or Arron? It seems that it was Arron and not Moses that held some considerable power considering he was given the  magical staff  of royalty and or the highest status among the Levites  and not Moses.

What does structure have to do with something being slavery? Usually, its the slavery systems that have the structure.

Even Christian God is modeled after slavery, where he rules with cruelty and punishes anyone who disobeys his strict rules, and expects his followers to praise him for his cruelty and celebrate the eternal torture of others. Same model as government uses, is used by Christian God.

For example:
Porn
Alcohol
Drugs
Pride
Selfishness
Money
etc. 
Porn enslaves you? Are you saying that someone forces you watch porn when in fact you dont want to?

This is a typical nonsense,
where you think that Christianity is not slavery when its only purpose is to make you obedient to the government.
But porn is slavery, because you lie to yourself that you dont want it while fapping aggressively to that trans porn.

Anyway, even if porn did somehow enslave you, I am afraid it doesnt make Christianity anything less than religion of slaves.

Contrary to the popular belief, blaming others of something you are guilty of does not negate your guilt in the matter.

i think you are reading too much into the bible verses that say to respect the government. you are construing your own meaning, after all, from the verses. id construe it as... 'respect the government and government authorities'. the bible doesn't need to delineate all the ins and outs of how to respond to the government in all situations. as a virtue, stating that we should respect the government is enough for a christian who is striving to live a holy life. the bible is meant to be mostly theological, not political.

Not a Christian argument.  We are told to respect the government.  We are told to submit to the Government. That is not the same as not complaining about the government.  Many times in the OT and the NT the people of God complain about the government and on some occasions we are told their complaints went to very throne room of heaven and God did something about it.  The story of Israel in Egypt is one example. 

"Dont rebel against the government."
This is not a Christian argument without qualification.   Christians do rebel against governments. Take Martin Luther for instance. Romans 13 uses the term authority not as a singular but as a plural.   All forms of government are included. State, church, family.   The very existence of these three types of institutions provide avenues for rebelling against a bad government.   Christians rebel against communist governments which forbid bibles. They rebel against governments which tell them to stop preaching the gospel.  Think Acts 4 where the Apostles said to the government - who shall we obey, Man or God?  A clear rebellion against the government. 

"Be satisfied with how much government pays you."
Not every country is a communist country which pays people.   But people have a right to leave.  No one has to stay if they don't like the pay.  A silly and stupid argument. 

"Obey the government."
Christians should obey the government unless it asks you to sin.  Then it is right to disobey. This applies to church government and to family government as well. If you don't believe in sin, then you have a problem.

Another silly argument.  Christians are told to rejoice in all situations.  This doesn't mean you need to walk around with a big goofy smile on your face.  It does mean that you are aware that God is bigger than you and the so-called government who is trying to bring you down.  Our sadness or happiness is not found in our circumstances, but in Christ.   Again, the question of whether we keep serving or not serving will depend on the circumstances and how we might respond.

I think each government at any particular time is put there by God.  But this doesn't mean that 1. God approves of that government. 2. That you can't seek to have that government removed. 3. That this limits you in any particular way.    The essence of saying that every government exists because of God is - to say that ultimate authority comes from God.

Another misconstrued argument.  Some people are too heavenly minded to be any earthly good and similarly some people are too earthly minded to be any heavenly good.  The fact is - God has put humans on this earth to look after it and to be stewards.  Yet it is true to say that our identity and joy is to be found in Christ. Not in the earthly things about us.   Yet saying our identity and joy is found in Christ doesn't mean that we should stop looking after the world, or that we can't find joy in it too. The question comes down to loyalties and values.

Warped ones who think like you might see it as a smart move.  Most don't see it that way and so most don't encourage it.  In fact many actively discourage Christianity because it inevitably ends up being rebellious to the government. Not for rebelliousness sake, but out of loyalty to God.  Hence why China has the fastest growing church in the world, underground church.  


So yes, now we have discovered the true purpose of Christianity.
The true purpose of Christianity is to worship God and to enjoy him for ever.

Indeed Brother.  Our resident police authority that has also taken it up on himself to be prosecutor, judge and jury without the full facts  that have been freely offered and freely available to him only for him to ignore is quite astounding. I was accused of threatening him without a single piece of evidence. I was also accused by him of abusing and harassing the Reverend but he appears to have turned a blind eye to the barrage of totally uncalled for abuse I received from the Reverend in the first instance when I was a relatively new member here that simply wanted to discuss scripture in a fair, diplomatic and open minded manner.  But the Reverend showed me that wasn't the way it actually worked here.
Here is just a sample of the abuse I received from our Reverend that claims to have been "chosen by god" himself:



Our kindly resident Chaplain and Pastor the Reverend Tradesecret wrote:

And lets no forget that he freely tell us that in his capacity as "criminal lawyer"   that most atheist in his experience are "drug addled kiddie fiddlers".

Indeed they were all uncalled for  insults directed to me personally and I had never once before that time berated or insulted the Reverend Tradesecret.

OMG, your outright Bible stupidity has absolutely no bounds!  What part of these Jesus inspired passages don't you understand in you not being a Christian anymore as shown in  my previous posts, where Jesus' words says that I am NOT to be associated with unbelievers or bad company that you now represent:

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14)

"Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)


Now, you will have to live with your new notion that you ARE NOT a Christian anymore for going directly against Jesus' words, therefore the membership can use these revealing posts of mine showing this fact against you in the future!
