Now senator, everyone with half a brain knows that capitalism has produced more wealth and abundance, the lowest poverty rates, just astounding levels of freedom and prosperity. Meanwhile in socialist countries like Venezuela and Nazi Germany the economy is always an absolute mess, the healthcare system, the education you name it.
And and and and and it just makes no sense to me senator, why would you want to ruin economic freedom and prosperity?

Listen folks. The Billionaires and Trillionaires that run this country got all the money. The working class needs that money. We need to take that money and give it to the working class.
They got the healthcare, we need to take that healthcare and give it to the working class.
They got mansions. We need to take those mansions, and give them to the working class.
How many mansions does a person need?
I have been fighting for civil rights since your grandfather was in your great grandfather's scrotum.
Capitalism is alright, but only if we give the money to the working class.

So what you're saying is you want to raise taxes on the wealthy and give free stuff to the working class, but what you're not mentioning is that you also want to raise taxes on the working class. So when you say "capitalism is fine" you are basically saying "capitalism is fine as long as we don't have a free market" because you want to turn everything into a state run bureaucracy rather than a consensual transaction where at least people are allowed to vote with their dollar and choose what they want to spend money on. Your idea is to keep the working class poor by taxing them through their ass and out their nose but make them reliant on the state so that they never become entrepreneurs and they never rise above and surmount their current station in the class hierarchy and quite frankly I think that what you're doing is Satanic and Fascist.
Neo-Marxists like you are always talking about equality and how you just want to help the poor but you conveniently leave out the fact that you're promoting an ideology that has killed millions and resulted in CATASTROPHIC ECONOMIC MELTDOWNS every time it's implemented. What makes you any different from Hitler if you want the state to run everything?

His opponent said that the rich don't need many mansions and that the rich should help reduce poverty by giving money to the poor with the government's help. He said that this wasn't a tax even though it is. Sparrow said that capitalism reduces poverty and anytime socialism has been tried, it fails. Con drops this point.

I think that's an overly simplistic assessment of how things went down. The guy who funds a business just because their dad left them some money did not earn as much the workers who built those companies on their backs. I'm not for the Bernie Sanders approach of taking all their money. But they get more than they deserve and they can have as much as they want as long as the workers get what they earned instead of the scraps that they tend to get now.
The 1% got us through the industrial revolution. They continue to improve our lives drastically. They earned their money.
