I'm going to start by saying I'm not 100% certain what the sides are exactly for this debate. It appears that the pro's position is that the truth value of the statement "This statement is false" is objectively false. However my opinion on this interesting subject is not the opposite, that 'the statement has an objectively false truth value', but that it is entirely impossible for this statement to be assigned a truth value at all. The proposition "this statement is false" is commonly known as a paradox. And a paradox is by definition,

"a statement or proposition that, despite sound (or apparently sound) reasoning from acceptable premises, leads to a conclusion that seems senseless, logically unacceptable, or self-contradictory."-Oxford Languages

Therefore it is objectively impossible for the proposition "this statement is false" to be assigned a truth value because it is logically unacceptable and self contradictory regardless of whether you declare it as true or false. Surely you don't need me to explain how this is paradox? If the proposition "This statement is false" is declared to have a false truth value, then the statement is also correct, because it said that it is false and we declared that it is false. Since the statement is correct in stating that it is false, it is also a true statement. That makes a logical impossibility because a proposition can't be both true and false at the same time. Therefore you have a paradox.

That's essentially what I just said... And it still shows an obvious paradox. regardless of whether you assign the statement with a true or false truth value, you always end with a self-contradiction. therefore, I repeat, it is impossible for the statement to have an objective truth value.
