Round 1
Forfeited
Claim
The world was created through 6 day creationism
Arguments
I am unsure exactly what stance my opponent is taking in this because one of the tags is "Christianity". If they are for Christianity, then they must not believe in the Bible, because the Bible says explicitly how the world was made - in 6 days. But if they don't believe in the Bible, by what grounds do they believe in Christianity?
If they do not believe in Christianity, then presumably they are talking about a deistic god, one who is all-powerful but impersonal.
Arguments for 6 day creationism:
1. It aligns with Christianity
2. One argument against 6 days is that there is scientific evidence that the earth took longer than that to come into being. However, there is no evidence at all for this as it is a theory. And the theory is saying, if the big bang is true, than this is true. But if the big band is not true, than it follows that this theory is not true.
Conclusion
This debate was either created from a religious standpoint, in which case it can be deduced that my opponent is deistic or something related to deism, or from a scientific standpoint, it which case it is their obligation to provide evidence for directed evolution.

I do not understand why a debater would choose to forfeit.
so you are against 6 days creationism?
if it would have not taken, I would have taken it.
Yeah. I think there is scientifc evidence for evolution but firstly, there are many problems with it, but second, I beleive in God and think He had to have some sort of hand in creation.
You are for Directed Evolution?
