'you' are black people in America
It's a deep metaphor
Round 5
Jedi mind tricks
Design in malice.
I like them too and was planning to use Vinnie Paz (founding member of JMT) in my last Round regardless so don't take this as some kind of dirty trick.
Rap Artists: JMT (Vinnie Paz specifically)
Song Name: Trail of Lies
Dude, I’m white, in my 40s, and my iPhone is full of weird al.
giving word burglar 10/10 and sa-roc forever 5/10 alone talks of the taste of ramshutu.
Enjoyed would be too strong a word.
I fully listened through all of them and not just the opening chorus or whatever. I liked some aspects of the songs.
you should have voted which you enjoyed more, as long as it was rap
My votes were based on the type of music, not what I enjoy.
I can't say I enjoyed a single second of that track.
I prefer bangers which none of those songs were.
Here’s a taste of what I enjoy:

your taste seems to prefer softer, emotional rap but I was banking on a voter like that showing up on a website that isn't as rap-oriented as this.
My selection would have included my Round 1 and 2 probably even for a hiphop oriented crowd but my latter 3 rounds may be different (thought my round 3 is impressive af, there's other Apathy or Pharaohe songs that are more 'wow factor' for the rap fan crowd).
To be honest I don’t prefer softer rap. And yeah I tend to enjoy EDM without a whole bunch of lyrics, though there are many that I like.
I dont normally look at rap battles but I may take a look later.
thanks for the votes!
I didn't expect a fan of hard EDM to prefer softer rap but I appreciate the vote and understand your type/taste. Do you prefer edm with very little lyrics then?
Anyone want to rap battle me? I have a few good songs.
I was invited to vote and I took the time to do so.
So why should you have won and not BPD?
Why are you the superior Rap critic?
If you want a lengthy appraisal give me a day or two....But the outcome will be the same.
curious if you'd want to vote on this
you always troll everything anyway, expected nothing more from you. You didn't possibly tie that many
ther'es so much more to rap than just instant aural pleasure, like lyrics and flow of the lyrics
I devoted precious time listening to all 10 tracks this morning. And as I stated, I rated track against track, based solely on aural effect.
My decision was honest and sincere.
"Troll" is a cheap insult.
I regard your remarks as nothing more than sour grapes.
you only won this by a troll vote.
curious if you'd care to vote, pls explain a tiny bit on each
joke of a vote. honestly just a joke.
pls vote
needs to be more focused on an element of rap tracks if we rematch, so that we can actually debate not just upload links. If we do too many of these rated, they'll ask to shut it down.
Ok. I will listen tomorrow and give an honest judgement, of which song in each pair appealed the most.
pls vote
I should have used jump by house of pain instead of sneaky neighbors.
that was fun! interested in doing another one?
Your Round 5 was very strong, I liked your Round 1 also. The rest are not at a tier of production and rapping that I'd land here but Aesop Rock is a skilled rapper, don't get me wrong.
Your round 5 I was considering to use but found the lyrics and delivery style may not please many.
not what i thought this was
