Description
Look I am as miffed about those illegal settlements and the next bleeding heart liberal, but for decades Israel was attacked over and over and made good faith efforts to trade land for peace, and where did it get them. I'm not trying to defend everything Israel does or our policy so lop sided in favor of Israel, all I ma saying is when you look at all the misery the jews have been through in recent and past centuries, why cant they be justified if a tiny sovereign state the size of new Jersey? is that really so much to ask?
Round 1
The existence of the State of Israel can be justified, without referring to biblical "prophecy" or command .The justification for the state of Israel can be made outside of the bible, through logic and appeal to fair play .For thousands of years jews have been exiled from their historic homeland, wandered the world experiencing pogroms ghettos beatings massacred and finally a genocide of historical precedence . Every people has a right to a homeland and if that be true of the People of Palestine it is equally true for the Jews . It seems impossible for the two groups to share this land, but that does not mean that the jews have to be the ones that forfeit. Have they not earned the land, through their brave defense of the little land that was given to them, and are their attempts at self preservation and defense not a birth right of all humanity?

Round 2
Moses said to phareaoh let my people go, and notice who has forfeited because thats bad conduct
Forfeited
Round 3
This sort of bad conduct must be noted , a repeat that Israel's existence can be perfectly justified without using the bible , or gods will sort of justification, one can make a perfectly legimate argument based on an appeal to logic fairplay, and the historical record, Israel the Jewish world about the size of New Jersey , the Muslim / arab world is huge the size of one dozen texas's , it is it not unreasonable to forfeit a small bit of land to a people who have none? especially when you attcked them repeatedly and they fought so bravely

Is there really a natin known as palestine? or did the state of jordan qualify as such a place for refugees to go
First debate on DART.
To be honest, its land give aways (and military victories) have successfully achieved a steady peace with most of its neighbors. Their major fight now is with Palestinians, and they never gave land away to them. Arabs arent a monolith.
Furthermore, everyone seems in agreement that they deserve a land, but as with all good will: "not in my backyard".
